As long as you credit me go ahead and edit any of my clothing(from MTS2 and my website) and use them in your own creations. And please let me know I would love to see what you make!

It is *highly* recommended if you are doing Body Shop meshes that you purchase a copy of Milkshape. Our tutorials use Milkshape, you can actually do some fairly decent stuff with Milkshape, and it is by far the most used and best-supported program for Sims 2 body meshes. And it's only $25 so though it's not free, it's cheaper than buying a new EP.

There are a couple free 3d editors that folks use to make *object* meshes. So if you don't want to do bodies/hair/accessories you can go look in the CREATE-OBJECT area and you'll find tutorials and stuff about the different options.

The big issue is not that we don't like free programs, but there are other issues with the current free programs, a lot of which are related to support for joints and morphs.

A lot of meshed object items, like a picture frame, or even the entire "Sculpture - Venus" have none of these features, and there are several free mesh programs will make these quite well.

There are programs even better than MilkShape for Sims2 body meshing, but their prices are in the stratosphere, or perhaps even orbiting out near the ex-planet Pluto (although some have decent student pricing, but I am long past any student status).
