This happened a few days ago completely at random. I hadn't installed any new hacks or anything, and most of my pets have turned headless (if they're dogs), tail-less (if they're cats), or completely invisible. So far two pets have survived intact, a stray and a pet, but the rest are completely fubared. Create a Pet is also not working, unless I want invisible pets I can't click on and my sims can't interact with.

So, anyone have any ideas why this has happened, and more importantly, can I fix it without having to reinstall the entire thing?

My lord thats strange.... All I could suggest is reinstalling Pets (which is unpleasant, I know), getting rid of any pet coats or markings or packaged pet downloads, or moving to a new lot and/or readopting your pet. I agree this is quite the glitch, and I hope either this or someone helps you out!

Damn...well I'll uninstall pets tonight and start pretty much fresh and see if that fixes it.

thats really odd It must be something in your download folder or maybe your graphic card is acting up?

same thing happened to me two days ago! all stray pets are still intact but once i adopt them, they go invisible and unclickable....frustrating

i'm having a similar problem my puppies are invisible! not all of them, just two. i don't have screenshots for comparison, i put the puppies in the adoption bin because they scare me. (in terms of fear-of-game-crashing)

if it helps, i have no hacks in my game any more. but then again i've screwed with my game so much lately trying to rid it of glitches, it may not be a good comparison after all.
