When opening the 4th page of sims in Bodyshop or when creating a sim, game crashes. OK, bad file. My question is, are there other locations where these files could be located other than savedsims? There seem to be more bodyshop sims than I have files in this location. Any help appreciated.

Your Downloads folder.

i have a question. How can we detect if the file is a "premade sim" (sim head). I seem to have the same problem with one of my premade sims. whenever I try to create a sim using that premade "face template", when I click on the last button , my game crashes.

If i opened my downloads folder with Clean Installer, what will the "premade sims files" be categorized as?

Sims will show up in Clean Installer as a random string of numbers and letters for the name, no type will be listed and there won't be a thumbnail image. Please see the attached screenshot.
