Hi everyone, I was asking about this in the Chat last night, but no one seemed to know what I was talking about. I was hoping someone here would be able to help me. I recently had to reinstall The Sims 2 and all the expansions. During the process it deleted the entire "\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\", which I wasn't very happy about. Luckily I had backed up my neighbourhoods and downloads folder. However, I had not backed up my userstartup.cheat and other files like this. Before I had uninstalled, I had something enabled that displayed what expansion pack an object came from when you select it in the Catalogue. I would select an item, the item description would come up, and below it there would be "Available in [Expansion Name]", e.g. "Available in The Sims 2 Pets". It would display in pink text. Does anyone have any idea how I can enable that again? I was searching for ages last night trying to find it, but to no avail. I'm surprised no one has heard of it, as I find it to be such a useful feature. Thank you very much! Domsy |

I guess that this is a feature available when you put the line "boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true" into the userStartup.cheat. I have that line in my userStartup, and I can see the EP info in the catalog. |

I've finally started my Journal. Information only, no questions. My latest activity: CEP 9.2.0! - AnyGameStarter 2.1.1 (UPD) - Scriptorium v.2.2f - Photo & Plaques hide with walls - Magazine Rack (UPD) - Animated Windows Hack (UPD) - Custom Instrument Hack (UPD) - Drivable Cars Without Nightlife (UPD) - Courtesy Lights (FIX) - Custom Fence-Arches - Painting-TV - Smarter Lights (UPD) I *DON'T* accept requests, sorry.

Sadly, the "boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true" does not affect the showing of the information of which EP an object belongs to in the catalogue. I just tried it, both in the userStartup.cheat and through the console, and it makes no difference to the description of the objects in the catalogue. There's something else that is doing it. I remember that I had never used the testingCheats before when I had the EP info displayed. Do you have any idea what could be showing it, as you do have it shown on yours. It might be in a different file, but I had thought it was userStartup.cheat. It looks like it is probably somewhere else. |

The cheat you want is boolprop ShowCatalogePFlags true. Check the readme file for Pets. |

Feeling like a bit of a chat about creation or just... whatever (not necessarily sims)?
