Now some clothes and hats for the men and teenagers. The younger boys only get clothes - no hats.

The hats can be worn with or without glasses and with any hair color and style that is not too poofy - otherwise the hair will poke through the hats. Try the hats with various hairstyles to see what works for you. As pictured, you can see that the hats can be worn with a variety of hair styles. Find the hats in the 'glasses' section.

Alexasrosa did the recolors on porkypine's meshes.

Be sure to get the meshes along with the recolors or else you won't see them in the game.

NOTE: All porkypine clothing meshes may be uploaded to any free site along with your recolors.

Alexasrosa made these gorgeous technicolor recolors for porkypine's meshes. The Seminole ladies are very adept at design and pattern making and Alexasrosa has brought out the beauty of the designs very well.

The adult women's mesh was cloned from the Glamour Life necklace dress. You will need that stuff pack to see the dress in your game.
The teen and children and toddler should be base game compatible.

Be sure to pick up the meshes along with the recolors otherwise your outfits won't appear in the game.

Women's Hair -

This is a distinctive style worn by traditional Seminole women. It took a long time to dress the hair this way. The hair is combed forward and wrapped around a stiff visor - Interesting style , isn't it?

It does not come in any other colors except for black streaked with gray for elders. You will find this under custom rather than binned with black hair.

Note: I don't recommend that you recolor this hair. The UV map is difficult to straighten out and lighter hair colors are very streaky and go all over the place. The UV map on this hair is too wavy for the lighter hair colors so if you decide to recolor it and color bin it, be aware that you'll have to work with the limitations of the mesh - The original was cloned from the base game's French Braid.

NOTE: All porkypine clothing meshes may be uploaded at any free site along with your recolors.

Four-Leggeds - REZ DOGS - for your REZ DOG Neighborhood

Every REZ (American Indian Reservation) Has Rez Dogs. These are generally the sorriest dogs you'd ever want to see. They are thick as fleas and have the run of the REZ.

In honor of the endemic Rez Dogs of Turtle Island, N8IVE SIMS Presents Soup and Fry Bread Muttley!

Oh... Soup is the ??? I think a Scottish Sheepdog mixed with a runty terrier and doberman and she's a girl.

Frybread is some kind of Dalmation terrier whose head is too big for his body - FryBread is a guy.

Oh! And for those of you who aren't familiar with real NDN names - Soup and FryBread are very common dog names on the Rez.

You won't find any twinkie names like 'princess floating moon flower' here, but you will find names like 'farts too much' or even bawdy names that aren't to be translated into English in mixed company. One of these days, I'll hafta tell you how 'Won't poop' got her name. but then again... that story is not really socially acceptable in mixed company.

So children... be careful what you ask for when you pester your elders for a real NDN name. You just might get one.

In real life, the building of a Seminole Chickee (the traditional home of the Seminole's in Florida), begins with columns and beams -- as do the structures of many of the other tribes. The First Nation's team is proud to offer you two superb new columns sets for your building pleasure. These versatile columns and beams are must have for every builder. They will work well for many styles and periods -- from rough hewn medieval lots to Western prairie towns to modern cabins hidden in the woods.

DragonArts, http://www.modthesims2.com/member/dragonarts, has made a set that features two columns -- 1 in concrete for a rustic modern look, and the other flush with the ground for a more traditional profile. The beam portion is actually a 1-tile window which gives you a tremendous amount of control over how long your beams are and how your sims experience the area covered by the beams. There is even a diagonal version which gives you unprecedented design options. Place the beam windows in a wall to give your sims an open air look with all of the traffic control and privacy of a wall. Use move_objects on to place them without benefit of a wall, and they will walk right thru them as though they are a wooden beam supported on two columns.

HugeLunatic, http://www.modthesims2.com/member/HugeLunatic, has made a set of columns whose size and texture bring to mind virgin forests of grand-daddy sized trees. These are all functionally columns. The uprights come in both one-story and two-story sizes. The beams are in both a full round and half-round shape. The beams come in a variety of tile lengths to efficiently create whatever length beam needed.

DragonArts has made a traditional drum to grace the walls of your home -- whether it is a chickee or other. Reyn & DragonArts teamed up to give every young Seminole a happier childhood. Every child needs a huggable, squishable, carry it around dolly -- and here is one that is dressed just like mommy.

DLMulsow, http://www.modthesims2.com/member/DLMulsow brings the textile arts of both the Seminoles and Navaho to Simville, with her bedding, rugs and pillow recolors. There was trade through out the American continents long before the building of the first super highways. The Navaho blankets & rugs would have been treasured, exotic items for the Seminoles. The geometrically precise, brightly colored Seminole patch work would be just as treasured for the artistry and traditions embodied in these works of love.

HugeLunatic, has also made a new, rustic bookcase -- be sure you set your graphics up high for at least a short time to read the delightful book titles. They are so appropriate! Requires University. No Florida swamp is complete without a muddy brown alligator lurking among the cattails. With permission, she has cloned, remapped and recolored Mickyss's green crocodile, which he has posted at his own site, Sims2World, http://users.tpg.com.au/mickyss/. Everyone assures me he doesn't bite -- but I certainly wouldn't let my toddlers near him! Requires University.

And to wrap up te set, Buggybooz's offering of fine Native American decorator items. The spears will be useful if your sim is hankering after a tasty treat and the baskets are ready to be filled with that wonderful harvest. There is a basket recolor for a bit of variety. Hang a quiver with arrows & bow on the wall, so everyone knows a great hunter lives here.

The Story of Turtle Island
All the world was flooded. All the different animals swimming in the flood dove down and were unsuccessful until one finally brought up some earth which was spread across the great turtle's back so that all could live on land. On the center of Turtle Island, grows the tree of light which stretches high up into the sky and provides shelter to all who dwell within and under it's branches.

Rez Dogz - Pets (Intended for your pets, but you can use the SC4 for any EP's)
Now, every REZ I know of always has it's Rez Dog component. These muttly mutts are always hanging out looking for an invite to dinner. So, bring your pets to the Rez Dog neighborhood and let them socialize for a bit. Who knows? You may be adopting some cute little rez dogz of your own.

Four Directions - Seasons

This neighborhood is where you will have fun for all the seasons of the year. Our frozenish lots will be to the north, rainy spring lots to the east, the hot summery lots to the south and the the blustery autumn lots to the west. Of course, we have to wait and see what creations the Four Directions community bring us.

Learning life skills is important to all people's around the world. With that in mind, N8ive Sims - Turtle Island Project will be bring some interesting University Majors to this thread. Later on we'll bring you some careers and menu food selections.

This list contains just some of the 'exclusive specialty' majors offered at our Turtle Island's Haskell University campus facility. We're always adding new majors to our curriculum, so come back and visit often. Enrollment is open now. Sign your young sims up now and give them that step up in life that they'll need to become successful.

The new curriculum was developed by Porkypine. All Majors have their own unique GUID and won't overwrite the default majors.

Installation Instructions:
1. Place in downloads folder and un-rar.
2. Install lot and place in neighborhood.

Special Notes For Traditional Lots:
The road will show in your newly placed lot. If you want to get rid of it, enter the lot. Activate the command window by pressing CTRL-shift-C at the same time. Type move_objects on and hit enter. Hold down CTRL while using the floor tool to remove sidewalks and road. The terrain paints are underneath. When complete, Save.

The totally invisible recolor of Numenor’s wall windows has been used in the bedroom and bathroom area to give this an open air look while still providing the privacy Sims desire for happy living. After you have admired the cool custom thatch roof, it is best to play with the walls totally down. Since they are totally transparent, you can’t see when there is a wall between you and an object you are trying to click on - it can be very frustrating.

On the traditional lots, your sims don’t really need to get a job if they don’t want to. Echo’s harvestable crops and SimAddict99’s clones make it possible for your sims to do subsistence farming -- they’ll never get rich, but they should be able to pay the bills and stay fed -- as long as you remember to water the plants.

Chickee Starter

Note: The first two shots are taken from the back of the lot, looking towards the road. (You can see the gardener's truck if you look carefully.) I think it really is worth the effort to get rid of the pavement and sidewalks ... don't you?

Chayajus Trading Grounds -- Base Game Community Lot, no ep’s required



Chayajus is Seminole for “I want”, … and this 3x4 community lot by BlueTexasBonnie has everything you could want and a few things that the most conservative elders don‘t want.

Here is what the Turtle Island Chamber of Commerce has to say about it:

The Trading Grounds -- Come shop and enjoy our futuristic fenced river swimming -- almost no alligators! Buy a few commodities and enjoy the scenic area. If you are easily offended, do not look behind the curtain. There are (gasp!!) premade clothes there. Be real careful of impressionable children -- there is even a mirror.

The lake/pool is a ‘fake’ lake. The lake is fenced, so swimming should be restricted to that little area. Sometimes your sims forget that they are supposed to be swimming and stand on the water. (I’m sure this is just an optical illusion. They are really standing on invisible alligators. -- which brings up another issue. If you have any ep’s installed, get the HugeLunatic/Mickyss alligator and add it somewhere. Unfortunately it isn’t a base game object.)

Walking Tree Bayou, by BlueTexasBonnie-a traditional chickee compound for your Seminole family. It sits on a medium lot, 3x3. At $60,908 this fully furnished home is well within reach of the established sim family. The master bedroom features a beautiful, handmade hanging crib & change table by Tarox for growing family. The horse is a totally functional vehicle -- with lights, sounds and everything. It is a tropical paradise with all the amenities your upwardly mobile Seminoles need … but be careful. Rumor has it that some HugeLunatic has loosed an alligator on the place. Let’s just hope it doesn’t like horseflesh or toddlers!

Installation Instructions:
1. Place and unzip both CC folders in your downloads folder. You must have both of them for the lot to work!
2. Install the lot package in the normal way, … i.e., double click on icon and let the installer do its thing.




Chief Hotalee's Chickee
Welcome to the home of Chief Hotalee. Hotalee is Seminole for “Big Wind” or hurricane. The Chief is very proud of his strong, powerful name. All of the tribe respect him and think he is a good chief, but …, well hurricane is not the picture that comes to their mind when they say his name.

This is a 5x3 lot and costs $61,278. It features a spacious, rare 2-story chickee. The upstairs includes the Chief’s bed, the wicker crib, a change table and exotic Navaho rugs. The lower level has lots of room for the other family members to sleep in.

There is an abundance of corn, pumpkin and peach trees to keep everybody comfortably fed. Sell the excess and you should more than cover your bills.

Istee-cha-tee Today



Istee-cha-tee is Seminole for Indian Man. This is home for the Istee-cha-tee of today. Many times, a culture will get 'stuck' in the popular consciousness at a particular period or time (who doesn't think mummy or pyramid when they hear Egyptian?). This home is both a reminder and a celebration of the dynamic, ongoing culture of the Native American Indians.

For a single sim or couple -- who know and appreciate their roots, but have their feet firmly planted in the here and now. It is fully furnished with items from some of the best Sim creators and designers available (all custom content included). It sits on a beautifully landscaped 2x2 lot. Istee-cha-tee Today will only cost your sims $52,529. What a deal!

There are not a lot of targeted, authentic traditional Native American Indian sim downloads. When I first began to try and furnish the houses, I thought we were going to need meshers to make EVERYTHING. However, by looking with an open mind, I soon found lots of things that, while not made as Native American Indian items, fit well within the theme and look.

These cedar plank tables were specially designed for your sewing and tailoring shops.

The small table with the fabric bolts on top was cloned from the base game octagonal table.

The larger table was cloned from the base game dining table and is 1-1/2 times the width of a standard dining table and it has 2 footprints so you can place items on both ends.

Both tables have their own GUID so they won't overwrite your games pieces. (see photo).

You may bend, fold and spindle this mesh, recolor it and upload the mesh along with your recolors to any free site.
