Hi I wondered if anyone could help with this little conundrum.

I have loads and loads of downloaded hair that has not been binned and it is very frustrating so I went into SimPE with the colour binning plugin installed and I used Delphy's dowload organiser to find hair files.

But the thing is that I seem to only be finding the ones that are already binned (purely by chance) because there are lot of ones that ARE binned .

Does anyone have a nifty way of telling if the hair is binned already or of seeing the file names for the ones that have gone into the custom bin instead of the correct colour. Otherwise I could be here for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever...

Many thanks to anyone who can help.

Nothing is foolproof to a talented fool...

the only way I have been able to tell is if they used the colorbinning tool to bin them, it will have "_Haircolor" at the end of the file.

So if it is binned you should see Hair1_blond Hair1_brown Hair1_black and Hair1_red.

Of course there are some creators who also named their hairs with this method without binning them. Also some creators binned the hair with other tools or methods, so it did not add the ending, so it is still hit and miss.

You can put all the hairs back in the game, and look in the color bins and make notes of what styles are already binned. The trick is to then find those styles in the masses of hairs and pull them out. This is when you hope that the creators had good, clear naming systems.

The good news is, once you do this, and you have created a back-up of the binned hairs, you only have to check the occasional new downloads to find out if they are binned or not, and they usually are now.

I am simply a mass hallucination that a majority of the population chooses to believe in.
