Hi Warlokk,

Okay, no offense intended, but I have a few comments on these meshes.

Firstly, and unfortunately, you have the proportions completely off. If the girl did, in fact, have an "ample" bosom, it would not be that large, would be sagging, and would be lower on the chest. You just have to look at pretty much any natural figure to know that the bottom of a large breast is invariably in line with the inside of the elbows. On your mesh it's basically a small breast extruded outwards, with the resulting look of a porn starlet with huge balloons on her chest.

Secondly, the bum is in the wrong place - it basically just sticks straight out, and doesn't curve with the rest of the body. Compared to the fairly slim waist and legs, it looks very strange and defies gravity, unless she's wearing iron underpants.

While your previous work to create different sizes was good, I really don't like these new magnets you are using becuase it loses the proportions between the bust hip and waist and looks unrealistic to an actual "curvaceous" girl. To an experienced eye, it just looks "off".

Some suggestions:
- Flatten the bum somewhat, instead of just extruding it outwards
- Either make the breasts smaller, or move them downwards a little and make the waist bigger
- Add fat to the arms, legs and waist

If she really did have these naturally then the overall proportions would be different. Here's a hint - just look in the mirror of the CAS to get an idea of how out of proportion it actually is, and work on making things more natural to the eye. Actual girls who are heavier tend to get heavy all over, not where you have magnetised.

You'd want to make the legs a bit fatter, same with the stomach and arms, and generally tweak the entire mesh instead of just extruding 2 places.

As I said, I appreciate you uploading here, and I know your things are popular, so I figured I'd give you some feedback regarding this latest one. I know that it's "just" a game, and people use some very strange meshes, but for most, a keen eye to detail is important, and some small tweaks would make this a great upload.

Hey Delphy--

Thanks for the feedback, I really do appreciate it... however, this shape was created based on a specific figurine posted in the request section at one of the other sites that hosts me, so that was the basis for the shape. This one is actually not intended to be realistic, but is instead a sort of exaggerated ideal, I suppose. The figure it was based on is a nude figure, but I wanted to release clothing for her has well to complete the collection. The figure you describe actually sounds a lot like my Renaissance Gal bodyshape, which was indeed intended to be a more realistic full-figured form.

I don't want to link to any adult-oriented sites here, of course, but there are links to the original inspiration for the bodyshape over at the adult sites.

Many of my shapes are intended to be realistic, but others (PowerGirl, SpicyGal, BootyGal) are really not meant to look natural, but are either comic-book, fantasy or just artistically inspired. In a game with fairies, vampires and aliens, I think it's OK to go over-the-top now and then. My main goal is to offer a wide variety of shapes so everyone can find something to suit their needs... of course I also realize this means not all my shapes will be to everyone's taste.

Warlokk, thanks for the explanation. Not sure why somebody would request these things, but ah well.

Can I suggest that you add some text saying it's meant to be cartoony, not realistic and all that jazz? My original post was written becuase I saw this as a proper realistic mesh (mostly becuase your use of the word "ample" which this mesh clearly exceeds in all senses ) rather than something from a cartoon.

I do know where you are coming from in terms of the renaissance style paintings, and applaud any effort to bring those in a realistic form to the Sims 2 game for people to enjoy.

Delphy

Hehe yeah, "ample" was a bit of understatement, huh... I could have said "enormous", but "ample" is a better word... :D

Just to put in my two bits as a woman, but regardless of whether or not the shape was intended to be realistic, even a gal with breasts that large CAN be perky with the right bra. I'm just sayin'... ;-)

Excellent job as always, Warlokk. Any chance of resolving the pattern spread issue with larger meshes? No worries if not, I was just curious if that was possible or not.

The pattern distortion over the huge chest area is problem, but since I don't use these meshes (I prefer the realism of the Pinup, Ren Gal, Fashion Model) in game it's not the biggest issue to me.

Having said that, I did see the original image that this mesh was modelled on and this is a very close replica of the original request.

It may be possible to fix, but it's a bit outside of my area of expertise... it would require reworking the UV's somehow, which is something I've never really played around with.

Well, I personally don't see why there's all this critism over it-I think it looks GREAT,and will happily download it! Can you make some more with a wider WAIST, with different size breasts and hips? That's something I haven't seen, other than the few fat meshes out there that are fat all over.

Nah it's OK, it's good, valid, constructive criticism, which is all any creator could ever ask for... :D

Not sure what you mean by the shape though... I have the RenGal already released, which is a bit bigger around the waist, and much smaller up top than this one, will that fit the bill?

This isn't in reguard to this mesh specifically. I was wondering if there is a way to aply this (and all your custom meshes) to the what I'll call "in game" clothing? (example: work clothes) At the moment, if I was to send BootyGal (or any of your other custom meshes) off to work she would change to the default body shape. Is ther any way to fix this to make these great new meshes an even more complete replacement to the default?

The only way to work around that is with a hack that allows you to send the sims to work in whatever clothes they are wearing, since the game only has one set of "Work" outfits that are in the default size... basically if you can't choose it, I can't really make a mesh for it. Since work outfits are automatically chosen by the game, there's not much I can do. However like I said, a hack allowing them to keep whatever they're wearing on would allow you to choose something appropriate in the correct size.

I found such a mod/hack for anyone interested.

No more unwanted mesh switching. Although, I'd still like to see appropriate outfits created at some point. Just a thought.

I once saw a chick who got size Q breast implants and her breast didnt sag. Also who cares if the breast size is a bit unrealistic. Give him a break.

Delphy, you should meet my sister. She's built very similary to this mesh and she's almost more than 50 years old and never had any plastic surgery. This figure is not an uncommon one in the black community. Don't you watch rap videos? lol

If he made them saggy, it would look wrong when she was wearing clothes. I'm just assuming she is wearing a properly fitted bra.

I love this mesh. She's so queenly. I want to add her to my medieval neighborhood, but sadly my Bodyshop no longer runs.

Warlokk, I love your meshes. I love that you have big ones, small ones, fat ones, thin ones. Your meshes are great.

I especially like this one because she has big boobs AND a big butt.
