I'm running NightLife and Open for Business. I have a one car garage with a two car driveway. I have a car parked in the garage and one parked on the driveway closest to the garage.

One Sim went to school taking the car parked on the driveway. The other sim got in the car to go to a community lot. This Sim is now stuck in the driveway parking spot for the other car. This was at 10:30 sim time.

I can not exit, save, change modes.

It's now 6:30pm sim time and the Sim at school is stuck at school and is starving to death and about to have an accident.
I tried cheating "moveobjects on", no use. I'd rather not terminate the game.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Joe

You might have a corrupt portal on the lot. I would try this: exit the game ( using ctl + Alt + del) and shut down the program. When you get back into the game, try and enter the house. If the problem is still happening, I would move the family out of the lot into the simbin and put them on a new lot. Also, patch each and every game you have installed if you haven't already.

If this recurs, you might have a problem with your sims2 folder. Please run through this tutorial: http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?...lp:Game_Problem to determine if it is user files or game files causing this problem. Make sure to back up your game before running the tutorial. Let us know how you get on.

I terminated the session, reloaded and tried again. This time the car in the garage stopped in the spot of the other car, teleported into the garage again and my sim got out of the car. I created a second driveway and moved the driveway car to it. The car in the garage now exits normally. When I complete backups I'll attempt more troubleshooting.

You might have a borked driveway. Have you tried deleting the driveway and laying down another one?
