Hi All, The eagle eyed among you would have noticed that today is "officially" MTS2's third birthday. The very first site news item was posted up on the 14th May 2004, although the even sharper eyed would have also noticed that my join date is actually May 4th...  MTS2 has come a long way in the three years since it's founded. We've seen great creators come and go; sites born and die again; and a increase in the quality of items in the whole Sims 2 community, not to mention all the changes on the site itself. With the Sims 3 not slated to hit for another year or so, and with more EPs and SPs coming from EA/Maxis, the Sims 2 is definately not dead yet and there is much more life in it - we are only just beginning to see more and more objects with custom animations, custom sounds and utilizing techniques that where once though impossible. To give you all an idea of the scope of the changes and happenings in the community since the founding of MTS2, in conjunction with the Featured Creators and Staff here, I have created a Timeline of the Sims 2 community in both graphical and text form.
