My game randomly crashes!!!! There is an annoying beep and then a message pops up saying that the ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working properly. I dont even know what that is!!! It isn't custom content because it did it the first day i got the game. It is really annoying me because sometimes i have been playing for about 3 hours and then i lose all that happened.

Google is your friend: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic20070.html It is a driver problem. Instructions for a fix are in that thread. |

Since this is a hardware/software issue and not 'technically' a gameplay problem, I would suggest you go to your hardware device makers website, or post the question at techspot or at our sister site S2C in the computer hardware/software forum: http://forums.sims2community.com/forumdisplay.php?f=8 |

Though failing all these methods you could open the sims 2 in a window rather than a full screen application. Since I have started doing this my game has never displayed that awful message again. http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/sto...user_id=1919923 There's a link to the tute |
