Ok , I tried getting the Nightlife to work a million different ways so finally i just re-installed the Sims 2 and it booted up and worked fine. Then i reinstalled Nightlife it downloaded fine . It showed up in the "Sims 2 game folder" right next to the Sims 2 folder .

Next i click on the on the "Sims 2 game folder" and double clicke on Nightlife and got this error message.

But when i play the regular Sims 2 it works fine ...Im just not sure what to do and I personally can't really try anything with moving the files around because i don't want anything to get really screwy .

Any help would be greatly Appreciated !

It looks to me like you've installed the EP over the base game.

Re-install both and this time don't change default directories.

Ok , but what does changing the default directories mean ? I would like to know so i don't do it again..and again ..lol

When you install it asks you what directory to save your game to just keep hitting next w/o changing anything ( in a few words don't change any settings when you install lol). :-)

Oh, ok so after i finish uninstalling the Sims 2 And Nightlife , i should re-install the Sims 2 by placing it in Macintosh HD and then just following the instructions for Nightlife and don't touch anything or change any preferances ...right?
