I agree completely; these are so much better than the original. I can hardly believe it's the same mesh. Great job! I may actually use this mesh now.

I love what you've done, but would you be able to do a copy of this without the forehead charm? Then it could be used on any sort of sim, not nessecerily elvish etc.
I think many more would download this if you could change it, it is beautiful anyway though!
THANKS!!!

Thank you very much for the upload: it doesn't look overly shiny comparing to normal (maxis) hair, it's colour-binned (and there's no duplicates in the 'elder' hair bin), and the hair doesn't include the little forehead ornament. Awesome

Oh I love it! Where did you find the forehead ornament though? It'd be perfect for my elf sim that I just created.

Great Job... Now how can I be sure that I have the right Mesh though?

Are you saying that the mesh that I need is located at:

http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair18.htm

Please clarify.

X3ZTOH, the one on page 18 is not the one you want. The one you need is linked to at the bottom of her post. XMS's earlier hairs had a different naming/numbering system, which is why there appears to be two #6 meshes.

And zoej, thank you so much for these recolours! I've always loved that mesh. However, the textures made me sad, and not being able to retexture it myself, well...

I downloaded this and I went into my game and immediately put it on a sim. And it looks just as good in game! I love this hair!

It's a beautiful hair. But it sounds like I'm the only one whose file says it's corrupt. I'll try again tomorrow.
