My game will be running completely smoothly, [I have Sims 2 Pets and just basic Sims 2] and if I put in a cheat that doesn't work, or a misspelled cheat, the cheat screen will grow big and it shows like all the things I've done before. I can't get rid of the cheat window after that. If I close out sims and restart it and go back to the family, the cheat window will be gone like normal. but if I open it up again to type in another cheat, the cheat window just enlarges again with all the weird data and I can't do anything about it. Please help!

Or type exit. |

Wow, thanks guys! I will definately try it. I never thought of the escape key :0 But I guess that's pretty logical.. I always thought that would just exit the game. |

If the cheatscreen goes big type: "expand" and then "exit". This will get it back to normal and it won't get as big every time you type in a cheat in that play session. |

Also set up some cheat aliases so that you're less likely to type the cheats in wrong next time. |
