I'm sorry if this thread already exists, but because of my computer being so horribly slow (it's going to be repaired by next week) and me having minimal time left before I've to leave, I just wanted to ask:

Is it possible to replace a non-default skin with another one?

I reinstalled The Sims 2 last year, and I downloaded CC for the first time in my life. I downloaded very basic skins that looked just like the Maxis skins, but with some more added details. Now, after having mass-downloaded tons of CC in comparison to before, I'm thrilled to try out my new hairstyles, clothes, etc.

The only problem is, my old sims - which I still adore - have the old boring Maxis lookalike skins and the old boring Maxis lookalike eyes left. I want to replace them with new ones, but since they're not the default skin, I don't know how I'm supposed to replace them. I was looking forward to changing their skin in the surgery career reward from Uni, but apparently, you can't.

I'm wondering if it's possible to replace it? If I just erased the non-default skin, wouldn't a problem occur? I know I can just use "lenses" when it comes to the eyes, I've some downloaded already; but what about the skin?

I'd really appreciate if anybody helped me!
