Hello, I wan't to move a huge descended family to a new neighborhood however I'm having problems. The tutorial says to remove memories and relationships away from the sims not in the household and this is an issue. I have 8 sims in one household and I have other 3 other sims I want to move with them to the NEW neighborhood as well. The thing is I dont want to erase relationships because the sims that are moving are the parents/grandparents/greatgrandparents of the sims in that one household- now THEY ARE MOVING TOO, but they are NOT in the same household as I do not have room to move them in! Also I dont want my sims to lose memories of their deceased relatives who have their graves in the graveyard?

How can I solve this issue and move both my households to my new neighborhood and the graves- with all family memories and relationships attached?

You need to move them all into one lot to preserve the relationships and memories. Then seperate them and fix any move memories/ family names with SimPE after you have located them in the new hood.

You'll need to download a hack which allows this. Try a search on this site or else ask on the Sims 2 Community WCIF forum.

As long as the markers (graves/ urns) are on the lot. These items contain the character information for the deceased sim.

alidarivera, how did you move the family to the new neighborhood?

Please do not PM me with Game or Site Help questions. Post them in the appropriate section after going through the FAQs.

The wrong way, apparently.. I moved to lots & houses bin.. I guess there is a way to do this via SimPE, but I didn't know at the time, and I am very inexperienced at using SimPE, so I was afraid to try it, on account of horror stories regarding lost NHs and such.. I mean, 4 generations of sims would be a lot to lose, should I click the wrong button or what-not!

You can easily fix the relationships with SimPE- some tutorials may help:
