When I am scrolling through the sim bin of existing sims I get half way through and it crashes giving me the "must close error". I deleted the "cache" files and the "thumbnails" files but this did not help. There are no files in "Saved Sims" files. Where would I find the files for the possibly corrupt sim? Or how would I go about fixing or removing the sim?

Thank you for any help you and give and please - talk simple to me because I am a grandma who isn't to knowledgable about computers!

In order to better solve your problem, please go through the following as listed below:
  • General - Problem Custom Content
Your issue is related to conflicting, outdated, or badly made custom content. Please follow the Finding Problem Custom Content FAQ.

The Downloads folder is the most likely location for a problematic file; try the article linked above.

On occasion you might be asked to do a long FAQ - please make sure you do all the steps and don't just skip over them. You'll often find that these long FAQs have all the details you need. If nothing in the above FAQs fixes your problem you may post again detailing exactly which you have done and which steps failed.
