Is there a way to create collections on a mac. The tools most often recommended seem to be pc only. Also any link to tutorials re making collections would be appreciated. Thank you, Robert |

Yes- you can make them in game just the same way as you can on a PC. Just add them to collection by using the little 'folder' icon when you select the object. Create collections by using the 'plus folder' icon in the collections tab. |

How do you add items to a collection. where do you find them. much of my custom content does not show up in buy mode. I'm thinking that by somehow adding it to a collection it might show up. Robert |

If your custom content doesn't show up, then making a collection will not help. http://www.modthesims2.com/wiki.php...ame_Help:GCCTSU To make a collection, you click the collection icon in Build or Buy mode- it is the one that looks like a little folder, just to the bottom left of the catalog items. |

How do you add items to the collection . I imagine buying them is one way but the things that I want aren't showing up. Can they be imported in any other way to compose a collection? Robert |

As simsample said, adding them to a collection is not going to make them show up. They have to show up before you can add them to a collection. Follow the link she gave you above - you have to get them showing up before you can do anything. Once you have them showing up, it's easy - there's an icon for "add to collection" on items. Even if there were another way to do it for Mac users (which there's not) it wouldn't help you as they wouldn't show up in the collection -either-. |
