I recently went nuts with the whole installing Sims 2 stuff on my computer (including patches), and one of the things I installed recently is See Them 2 which allows you to put objects at a 45 degree angle, uncensor, and a few other things without using the cheat codes (since some of them no longer work with certain expansions). Now that I'm playing the game and decorating the houses, I've noticed that some of my custom content is now doing strange things.

For example: I have a window on an angle, and when applying custom curtains, the item changes! What I mean is the curtain I'm selecting shows up correctly in the list, looks fine when moving it to the window, but once it makes contact with the window it suddenly changes to a random default curtain! When I move the same item away from the window and place against a normal wall or window, it changes back to the custom item.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has installed this "tool" and had similar issues, if there is a patch or something to fix it or if I should just uninstall it? Or maybe I'm missing something or have another issue I'm currently unaware of? Anyone have any ideas?

We do not provide support for third party addons. If you are having problems with one you need to speak to the creator.

It does appear though with the problem you described and what you say this program is supposed to do that it likely the cause, but again not necessarily. I would say that removing this See Them 2 would be a good way to see if it is indeed the problem.

With all the new content you downloaded it's possible that it's not this one particular addon. If you find the See Them 2 isn't the problem, and you would like help narrowing down the problem please follow this guide: http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?..._Custom_Content

It could also be a problem with the custom curtain, not having diagonal meshes so that it reverts back to a default mesh. I have used See Them 2 for over a year now with all expasions and stuff packs and never had a problem with it.

Ah, that could be. I never thought about the meshes and how they work. Thanks for the input! I guess I will have to pay more attention to that aspect when downloading things.
