The game will create a new saved game folder for itself, you won't have to reinstall. |

If you delete the My Documents\EA Games folder, when you run the game, it generates a new one. It may take quite a while (15 minutes-ish) for the initial load as it has to make new files for everything, but that -does- work. If it's not working, then there's something wrong with your game that you will probably need the game disks to fix. I just tried it and it works regenerating a fresh My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 folder if you remove the entire My Documents\EA Games folder, so I'm 100% sure of this. |
