I am using sims 2 base & nightlife/windows on a 2.5gh macbook pro with a gforce 8600M GT graphics card with 512 mb. With all graphic settings, including smooth edges at maximum settings the in game graphics and performance of the game is excellent. I am using the latest Gunmod radience lighting as well as the gunmod camera package.

That being said, today for the first time I attempted to record. I turned off the audio record, set the quality range to 1024 ppi, and to my surprise, the resulting video was barely visible, with huge jagged edging, vastly pixelated images & impossible to use. All things considered, shouldn't I be getting better quality recordings? What might I be doing wrong or need to do?

On Sims 99 someone asked me if I was sure my video settings were large & high quality. Although I thought that was what they were, when
I checked I discovered that I was mistaken. They were small & low quality.

Needless to say, I am embarrassed that I did everything right but set up the video correctly, but extremely grateful that the problem was solved.

One issue resolved.

Well Callistra, I'm not sure what you mean by follow through, however I visited the other threads, made what update/comments I could. A few of the issues were resolved and I stated that as well as the solution (or lack of solution).

Is that what you meant?

Can I continue to post now?

this problem has been solved. The resolution was low and the size was small. I modified the settings to high and large.

Before you make another thread, please take advantage of our numerous guides found under the game help link at the top of this forum. We are happy to help but you have been making massive amounts of help threads, one after another, and most of which can be found by using these resources. Thanks.

Locking since this is resolved.
