The stairs are created because...
1 - the sunken room technically counts as a floor...so 1
2 - I have a dummy level so i have a flat second floor to work with...so 2
3 - i have to be able to reach the 2nd (technically 3rd) floor, so i add another flight of stairs...so 3
from there it wraps around, making a half...spiral thingy ma bob and WHA LA! awesomse stairs

awww I LOVE this house. Your work is Gorgeous. I'm still learning to make house becaues I've not had the game for long. So it's nice to be able to have examples of good building to studdy. AND it keeps my poor sims from living in rectangles. hehe
