I downloaded every single lot from Stoffelsim, gorgeous little buildings that have no custom content at all. I was absolutely thrilled and excited about them. I placed them in my neighborhood, and then moved one of my Sim families onto the lot of one of the apartments, then moved them in using the boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true cheat. Afterwards I notice that my Sims were floating in the air while siting on what seemed to be a couch / chair as well as the toilet. So I went back to the neighborhood, removed the family, and went back into the lot with no Sims. The furniture was showing then. Went back out, put the Sims on the lot, and before I even rented the apartment I noticed yet again that the furniture was invisible, just from the Sims being on that lot. So I exited out of the game completely. Backed up my game, then removed saved Sims, all my custom content, hacks, and my cheat startup file out of the Sims 2 folder. Went back into the game with absolutely nothing, put a family into the lot, and once again the furniture is invisible. So it is not any of my custom content, hacks, or cheats. For the life of me I do not know what else it could be. Can someone help me please? I would be ever so grateful. I am anxious to play these gorgeous lots. |

It's normal for furniture to disappear in apartments where you don't own the sims living there. Try checking door placement. Sounds like a build problem, not a game problem. |

Why would you be moving them in using debug mode? What exactly are you doing? I have all her apartments and I can assure you they work perfectly. When you rent an apartment, it comes unfurnished. So, only the kitchen and bathroom fixtures will show. There will be no couches etc. That's normal. |

In debug mode there is an option to rent an apartment furnished, which is what I gather BunnyHeartS is doing. |

Yes, I am renting them furnished, because they are already furnished. I downloaded all the furnished ones, instead of the unfurnished ones. So I need to use debug to rent them. |

Does this happen with every apartment you try to rent furnished (like the Maxis ones that come with Apartment Life)? I've had this happen with an apartment I built myself due to some issues with the way it was built. |

Nope. I just tested one of the Maxis apartments. The furniture is visible. I think I will just rent them unfurnished and decorate myself. I am wondering though, that if I go out to the neighborhood and back in, if my furniture is going to be invisible again. I have not tested it yet. [Edit] Just tested it. Renting it not furnished and furnishing myself works. Even with going out and back in. So I guess that will just be what I will have to do. |

In the future when you have problem with specific content you download you need to refer to the creator for support. We will help with broken games but we don't provide support for any third party addons. Glad you found a fix for these lots. |
