I'm working on my first attempt at making my own custom clothing and I've hit a brick wall. I'm adding a logo to a shirt and it looks great in Paint Shop Pro, but whenever I load it in body shop, the logo gets horribly distorted. Here's a few pictures to show what I'm talking about.

I've searched high and low for a solution and nothing I've found works. I should note that it's only the content that I've created that I'm having problems with. The clothing that I've downloaded from other uses displays just fine in body shop. Here's a few possiblities I've eliminated already...

- I tried the fix suggested here I changed every single config and csconfig file and I haven't seen a change. I restarted body shop several times and have created multiple new projects and each time I get the same result.

- After I saved the texture , I reopened it again in PSP just to make sure it wasn't the actual bitmap that was distorted. It still shows up crisp and clear in my graphics program.

- It's not a problem with the mesh because I'm using this mesh by ang41187, which has been previously used by several other creators to make logo shirts.

- The texture image that I'm editing is 1024x1024 as it is supposed to be and I'm saving it as 24 bit.

So, I'm completely out of ideas. As it is my first attempt at recoloring, I could very well be missing something completely obvious here. Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated, because I'm about ready to pull my hair out .

That looks more like compression than distortion to me. It's a problem with Body Shop.

If you have SimPE, you can try importing the texture file using "Build DXT". That sometimes helps get around the problem of Body Shop compression.

Before you do that, though, see what it looks like in the game. I've had some projects that look awful in Body Shop, but nice and sharp in the game.

Thanks for the suggestions! I tried the shirt in-game and it still looked awful, so I downloaded SimPE and tried that as well, and I got the same results. Now, I wasn't sure which Format, Sharpen, and Filter settings to use, so this may have been part of the problem. I went with DXT3Format, and selected none for both the sharpen and filter. Is there a combination that will give me better results?
