Hi I think this may just be a bug... but my sims can't seem to be able to adopt strays. Most my my households have the pets that they want, but I have 2 households of 8 (for challenges) which have tried to adopt a stray (wolf, cat, dog - I've tried 'em all) and as soon as the option comes up and I choose it and a message box pops up saying that the pet is pregnant and I will have to wait until the puppies/kittens are born before moving. Now - I'm guessing this could be a bug in my households of 8 in this neighbourhood (in which case they'll just have to wait for the challenge to end and get split up). I don't think its a neighbourhood bug cos my one family managed to adopt a cat (2 adults and a dog to begin with) - but I will admit I should probably test more thoroughly - but I don't have oodles of time, so I thought I'd check if anyone else has run into this. Does anybody know if this is a known issue - or if its just buggy lots (as occaisonally happens)? Thanks a bunch! |
