Kalila Smith (Johnny and Ophelia's daughter) fell in love with BJ Platz, one of the service sims. He moved in, and they became best friends and had 100 on daily relationship and 94 on lifetime each.

However, the "Propose... Engagement" has never come up! I got both relationships to be as high as possible, put a wedding arch on the lot, got them to make-out repeatedly. Also, strangly, the action 'Introduce to Calistra' - the nanny - stayed up despite Kalila introducing BJ to her 3 times. I restarted the sims to no avail. This is the 3rd serious glitch I've had since I've installed Sims2 pets patch.

Can I uninstall it?

I could be wrong but I don't think you can uninstall a patch. The files get imbedded in the game. Sounds like you're going to have to uininstall and reinstall Pets

Ok:

1) are either of your sims married already? CHECK!

2) who's house are you at, or do they live together?

the other thing is either one married that can happen if like me you forget or if you share your game with someone else

No its a NPC sim who isn't married, but Kalila used to be married but then got divorced - her exhusband is married again to another woman.
