Lemon&Lime Original Poster Scholar Join Date: Mar 2007 Posts: 1,518 Thanks: 533 in 9 Posts 4 Achievements	Everyone is different. Some are cat people, some are dog people. Or even bird or womrat people. Or just fish people. Which are you? And is there a breed in particular that occurs again and again in your game? Tell us about it here.

I prefer large dogs for breeding (differences when you cross-breed are more obvious) and cats because they're low-maintenance. I dislike womrats 'cause they need feeding so often! But they're good presents for sim children.

Thrior Inventor Join Date: Jan 1970 Posts: 939	Well... I love both cats and dogs in real life but in this game, I strongly prefer cats. That's because they are easier (no regular bathing) and they offer more interaction than dogs. Also... they really screwed with dogs because they don't really show their personality at all. Cats can be rolling and jumping around, cathing flies etc but dogs really do nothing. And because I have a dog in real life this just makes me feel sad. My dog for example loves to lie on the floor or sofa, on her back, and then roll around while making these silly noises which reminds me of pigs. One of the biggest reasons is also the fact that my game doesn't seem to like dogs. It has only crashed when I have been playing a family where's a dog. It has never crashed with cat houses. No matter how many cats and sims there is.

Ditto! In real life i have 2 cats but my sims always have big dogs..then sometimes a cat..ive noticed also that dogs really dont do a lot..cats have more toys also..would be nice if dogs had more..my dogs never need baths :S maybe cos i maxmotives the house every morning :P

...i hate the word "also"

I tend to create cats in CAS, but I have lots of families that have adopted some pet while I wasn't playing them and then I just allow the pet to join the family. I don't have fishes, because they don't show up and I'm usually too lazy to turn on the shaders cheat. Also, wormrats are quite a minority.

MarkySharky6 Join Date: Jan 1970 Posts: 123	I like small dogs the best, same in real life. All my Sim families have small dogs. I don't really have a favored breed, I just usually make one up in CAS. And I also never really had a big dog at all yet, so I'm gonna try that next... In real life, I'm allergic to cats, so I have NEVER had a cat. But in the game, I almost always have a cat. I also sometimes have birds and womrats. I only use fish as decoration, and I love the fishtank Pets added alot. It's coming in so handy for hotels and stuff in BV.
