 Cannot assign different hair to each outfit

When I use the change appearance option, I cannot use the options to pick a hair for each outfit:  |
|
forever and ever....amen. |

Click on the everyday outfit icon, and you should be able to choose... as in the one that looks like you could click on it.. |
