I point to the ground and digging isn't an option. I just bought the game a couple of days ago, I am sure there is an obvious answer.

You need to have open terrain, not covered by floor tiles.

isn't the ground open terrain? Do you just click on the ground and a dig option comes up? Do you just dig with your hands?

Well, if you have bon voyage installed and your ground is not covered by floor tiles, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to have your selected sim dig. Also, temporarily remove your downloads and check with if the option appears when there is no CC in your game. Maybe you have a conflicting hack of some sort.

It was the CC. I disabled it and I can now dig. I thought I must have been a complete idiot. I guess if I am in digging mode on vacation, I will disable CC.
