Alright. I'd like some advice.(:
1.) Legacies.
What do you guys think of these? I've tryed and tryed to make one... But I just can't hang onto one family at a time.): Any tips?

2.)Big Families.
Well, (obviously) if your having a legacy -- which to my knowledge involves having multiple generations in the same house -- you're going to have a big family. How do you guys manage such large groups WITHOUT using any cheats? Also, how do you make a house that's not completely spread out - OR has tons of levels?

3.)Pictures.
Alright, some of you will call me stupid but...
You see, I'd have to say I'm pretty swell at getting good pictures, but for legacy families -- this includes their story -- I don't know what to do! I'm not sure of what to take pictures of and what not to.

BTW I'm honestly not the one to take a picture of mom's every single bump.

Thank you for taking the time to look over my questions and I hope I can get SOME answer today.(:

~Nymphy01

EDIT::
2.) When I say how to manage big groups, I mean their needs.(: I read over it and wasn't sure if that was the clearest thing. Thanks again!!

Don't stick with just that one family, play other households as well.

It doesn't have to be huge, you'll max have the grandparents, the heir and his spouse, and their kids. My Sims reproduce quite late, so the amount of time I have both the grandparents and the grand-children at the same house is quite short. If you don't like having babies, just for the sake of having babies, then don't. I for one find that boring, so I try to play my legacy house as a normal houses, but with the rule that I'll try not to kill the family line, so reproducing is at some point going to happen, even if the heir doesn't like the idea. Also, there is no rule that you have to have 7 children/generation. Just have a few, or one. And about the house, well, just remember that you don't need to have every single object in the game in that one house. Use modded bunked beds, to save space, and don't always expand. Real life people are also not constantly adding new rooms to their houses, they'll just squeeze a bit tighter until the kids are big enough to move out.

Just take pictures of anything funny/sad/normal/mundane/boring, pictures will not slow down your game, so take as many as you wish, and if you plan on organizing, them for a blog or your own use, then pick and choose the best ones. You don't have to know before hand that this picture is legacy blog worthy.

If you do want to run a big household (and I find them lots of fun), remember these basic principles:

The pause button is your friend.
Perfection is not only unnecessary, it is stressful and boring and therefore undesirable.
Family members need to share - responsibility and good times and chores.
Visitors can be influenced to do things.
You don't need to do everything at home or as a group - community lots have many uses and sims are allowed their independence.
Rotate your active sim.
Nobody has to be pleased but you.

All you can do is the best you can do.
(My most recent book is Sullivan, That Summer. In case you care.)

Peni Griffin- Thank you!! I will consider that(:
I, myself, enjoy large families and small ones alike. Though occasionally too large of families DO get out of hand, with me.(:
My favorite part is
"Visitors can be influenced to do things."
I'll use that alot more(:

Consider doing a legacy with a twist, there's so many different rulesets out there, there's bound to be one that will suit you. Personally I really like the idea of the Differences in the Family Tree , because it gives you different goals for every generation rather than just slogging through them.

For the pictures: take as many as you want of anything you fancy, you can always pare them down later.

Isn't every family you make and play through each generation is a legacy? Because that's how I see it. No rules or whatever but just a great family.

true love is sim love :)

I never made it past 3rd generation before I began a BACC (build a city challenge).
Forced rotation is really a key. Not that you need a BACC to have that - but make your own thing.
Just make sure you have a set rotation. And dont cheat with it!
Different versions of challenges in the neighbourhood will also keep interest up.

I let ACR decide the amount of children spawned, but interfere if I have to. As in elderhood aproaching fast and no heir in sight.
Or special families (challenges or my "familystory"). When I get the occational big family I generally set them loose, more or less.
Rather like a Surronded by Idiots you know. I will act if something "important" is about to/need to happen but essentially they will take care of themselves. And actually. I have found out that they are pretty good at that!

gulhare-
Also very helpful. Nevertheless, I could rarely make it past the second. Those sims just get so darned boring > .<
I'll try making a town where I rotate the families. But you see, I normally don't do that because I hate making so many houses.
It's hard to find one on the forum because of what I have; Nightlife, Celebrations, Bon Voyage, and Pets.
I have them out of order, which makes it hard to search for a good quality house. I end up just searching through the base game houses. And they're just well... Blah ):
If anyone could help with that problem, I'd be more than happy!(:

BTW- Thank you all for all of your inputs.(:

The order doesn't matter Nymphy but, yeah, it can be a pain finding houses usable with a limited combination of EPs. You could just try looking for lots that use one or other of the EPs you have.

It actually sound like you should sadle up the horse named BACC
Since that forbid you to place any more households until you have earned them! And same with community lots.
That would give you energy to build as needed/earned, perhaps. The town will look boring and empty in the beginning of course.
