It's what I've heard. I might actually give them a try sometime in the future.

I like the Travelers, but I always break the family up in various ways. They don't seem to be well suited for each other; Trish wants to settle down in te suburbs while Trent wants to stay unemployed and travel the world. I feel like Trent would come to resent Trish eventually for making him give up a dream of his or Trish would resent Trent if continued to be dragged around the world with their daughter in tow. That's just my take on the situation though.

I got him as well. In my game he has ridiculous sexual attraction, triple bolting everywhere, but he became playable because he's the new husband of nasty Kurt Kardesh's last wife who was also a townie. He spends a lot of time in the hottub, woohoing and eating out with his triple bolt meal ticket. He has one son - Gilbert - and two romance aspiration step-daughters.

Jen and Vincent just finished their sophomore year at Academie Le Tour. Jen's made Dean's List, as ever, and has made good friends with one of her old professors, named Deborah. They spend time together rather frequently now, which doesn't hurt Jen's grades, and it provides Jen with a fulfilling friendship. In her spare time, Jen's been painting on the easel in the common room; she's much improved from when she first enrolled at the college. Also, she recently led an effort to straighten up the resident hall's gardens and shrubbery, and with any luck the flowers in the courtyard will come back with spring.

Vincent's still persuading everyone to do his homework, though he's taking the time to raise his skill points for his major. The rest of his time he's spent trying to date around--unsuccessfully, since he seems to find straight guys most attractive--and to get into a hall-mate's pants; he went on three dates with him, and all seemed to be going well except that Vincent's little boyfriend wouldn't make out with him. It turns out he won't fall in love or have a crush on Vincent no matter what I do; for the sake of Vincent's pursuits I bypassed that little bug with ACR interactions. The dormie still won't fall in love, though Vincent is head over heels for him; in story terms, he's bicurious and not ready for a serious relationship with Vincent (and probably never will be). However, that didn't stop the two of them from having a wild time in the hot tub at the university gym.

Since then, Vincent's begun to look for a more serious commitment. He wants to propose to his boyfriend, but since he isn't in love with Vincent, it probably won't work out. Jen's triple-bolt chemistry with the townie Steve also seems a dubious hope now, since Jen's preferences have changed from high-ranking businessmen who know how to cook to stay-at-home guys who have a way with words. They haven't seen each other in a while, so I may be wrong, but I think part of the reason Jen liked him so much was his job as a CEO, and now that she doesn't dig high-level employees anymore, Steve's position will mean nothing. If so, it will be back to the drawing board for husband-hunting for both Jen and Vincent, but they have plenty of time for that once they get out of college.

The first generation of the Reid family has died. Claire Reid the daughter of Dale and Annette Reid has just given birth to twins and her oldest child Allegro has grown up into a child. Claire's husband Anthony has proven himself to be completely worthless because all he wants to do is lay around in bed all day and not help take care of the children.

The Llewellyns (Rory, Jerrica, and son Reginald--based off a show I watched in the 80s LOL) have moved to Desiderata Valley. Rory is Fortune, Jerrica is Popularity, and Reginald will be Knowledge once he reaches teen.

I plan on trying to get Reginald into private school as soon as possible--as soon as his mom gets her Cooking skill up. I put Rory in the Business career track, Jerrica in Journalism.

I'm not using money cheats, either...I'm just creating the families and putting them into houses they can afford, and with college students I have them buy stuff before they head back to the main 'hood and put it in their inventories. Have them work their way up. Sometimes it's fun for them to work their way to nicer things, while other times it's fun to play rich families (such as my Mole/Nova family, now worth over 300K) because you don't have to constantly check the lot value while building.

My plan is for Reginald to eventually marry Jaclyn Evans.

The Travellers do make ugly children their eyes come out weird and it makes them look like they're blind

I broke mine up as well. Trisha cheated on Trent a couple times and had a child by her lover. When Trent caught her he moved out to his own place and lived alone until Tina moved in with him after she graduated college. Trisha married her lover and had another child with him.

At any rate, Sidney and Ramona Roseland welcomed a daughter named Tara, after her late paternal grandmother. Her cousins are the Pitts twins and the Evans twins.

Immediately after having her baby and nursing her, Ramona went off to work (Dance career--that's a Fortune Sim for you). Since Sidney hasn't found a job yet (I'm going for Journalism for him), he gets to stay home with the baby. Kinda backward for me...but if you make a Fortune Sim miss the carpool to take a vacation day that can give them an aspiration hit. Both Sidney and Ramona are Fortune Sims.

Trent Traveler seems to be generally more interested in Tina than Trisha does in my game--knowledge sim wants child in private school and getting straight A+ grades sort of interest.

I got my game to finish Don and Cassandra's wedding. I'm not done weeding out cc, but I can go play Twikki now with them. Wonder how many possible woohoo partners Don's gonna meet there?

Thinking about starting Desiderata Valley over. Or just playing a custom 'hood for a while, then going back to DV.

As far as Don Lothario...lots of times I change his aspiration to Fortune.

Meet Middleground's new District Attorney Judge. This is the part where you cringe in fear.

Theo, Tyler and Anna's newest addition to the family via loins. He just grew up to toddler...in a tuxedo. Nice. I'll probably make him the heir unless the duo produce a better choice. Not to say Theo isn't attractive, he just has a rather manly face for his age.

Also, Faith ages up into a teen and their daughter Bessie ages up into a child.

At SSU, Kylie Fleurada accepts a proposal from her girlfriend-now-fiancee Sam Thomas. Faith is also present. She's a popularity sim, and is being blocked from view by the professor.

At the frat house, Castor proposes to three-bolt girlfriend Allegra Gorey...

Kevin loses his v-card to three-bolt girlfriend Jane Stacks...

And Joshua to two-bolt crush Erik Swain. Ashley is probably teasing him about it through song, or just trying to piss him off with his no-creativity-skill singing.

Using a different computer, so no pictures.

The universe decided to throw Bernard and his family a bone after the miscarriage episode they had.

First, Bernard was promoted to Vice President of his company, a step closer to his life time want. His wife, who was home that day, tidied up the house to prepare for the Headmaster. She invited him over earlier that day, since Bernie wanted his kids to have a better education.

Sure enough, they managed to score 120/90 points, and the children got into private school. The ecstatic couple celebrated with some under-the-sheets fun, and with that, their third child was conceived.

So, happiness all around.

Just started up Strangetown and associated La Fiesta Tech, got rid of EVERYONE except the Beakers and the Grunts.

College student Rebecca Redford met and fell in love with General Buzz, and after graduation she married him.

Buzz and Rebecca have a son named Chip, and Loki and Circe Beaker have a son named Andrew.

The boys' personalities are interesting, I'm thinking about making both boys Fortune Sims. Chip is 10 Neat, 1 Shy, 10 Active, 6 Playful and 2 Grouchy. Andrew is 10 Neat, 10 Outgoing, 10 Active, 0 Serious, and 1 Grouchy. They can both be in the Oceanography career track, since they're neat and active. Decisions, decisions....

I also changed Ripp Grunt's aspiration to Pleasure. I'm not much for playing Romance Sims. Pleasure's a good alternative.

I've got my very first college pregnancy, thank you ACR and InTeen. Accidental too. I'm looking forward to seeing how complicated this makes college for my sim.

OH JEEZ and she's just had twins! That'll teach me to think "college can be a little boring"! Doesn't help either that my dorm chef died and another one hasn't spawned, so my students are having to cook to stop all the stupid dormies from starving to death.

When I had InTeen, I have had female college students marry the professor and the professor stayed home with the baby. LOL

Never had two college students have a child together while at college.

Back on topic:

Here's Circe Beaker's new look:

Loki sees General Buzz...and probably what Buzz is doing with his new wife, from the looks of it:

"All right, Loki, what were you going to do with that rook?"

I set Strangetown's seasons to Summer, Fall, Spring, Summer, so I tend to dress Strangetown Sims in cooler outfits.

College pregnancies are common in my games, especially among my family sims (who keep insisting on trying for more babies after they have one on accident. Probably because I push for shotgun weddings, so they figure since they have a ring that they can spit out more kids.)

Frances J. Worthington III and his girlfriend Lyndsay Fuchs were my first experience with college pregnancy. Poor Lyndsay had to get married instead of living out her Romance Sim aspiration. I still to this day force her to stay faithful to her husband.

Well, I just stayed up way to darn late...

Flu is definitely eradicated, the last pocket of infection at the Greeks having been wiped out, and no flare-ups occurring for one full rotation. Theodora Ottomas got her third love of a proposed twenty, a dormie , and I thought she was finally going to woohoo in bed, but the guy had, um, performance issues and the timer ran down. She's now woohooed once in a hot tub, once in a photo booth, and once in a car. I wondered whether I should go for the record and have her woohoo everywhere else before she made it to bed! And then I realized there was no way to get her access to a helicopter.

Paul Curian threw his graduation party and moved out of Alma Mater House, freeing up the second double bed. Unfortunately there's three Alma Maters ready to live with their significant others. The original plan was for the Hawkins twins, Marsha and Harriet, to get them, but then their nephew George moved Jovita Casa in. Harriet went on a date with her beloved Ted Ottomas and they discussed how things should work.

Jovita and George couldn't move back into Scholarship House, because one of the guys Theodora's banging is Jovita's big brother and that's just asking for trouble. Also, though Ted knows he can't control his twin sister, or even slow her down, he still feels responsible for her and wants to be on hand to pick up the pieces when the inevitable happens. Harriet isn't thrilled about the prospect of sharing a house with Theodora, but after the triumphant way Ted demonstrated his fitness for a role in the Hawkins family (I treat a Want to woohoo in a male sim as indicating the existence of, um, a certain physiological state enabling it; Harriet and Ted got into a make-out/woohoo want cycle that took them through three successful completions, and were working on the fourth when the date timer wound down - even Goz Hawkins never managed that! But then he's never had a car.) there was no way she was spending another night without him. But that rotation had already been completed, so she hasn't transferred to Scholarship House yet. Marsha invited the household over, though, and asked Jeremiah Gavigan to move in with her, leaving his sister Naomi behind, so the breaking up of the twin sets has begun.

Toward the end of the evening, Ted was looking like a tug-of-war rope. First Harriet would grab him and make out with him; then Theodora would tell him an inside joke; then Harriet would flirt with him; then Theodora would tickle him; and so on and so on. If you asked her, Harriet would say she's not about to compete with her man's kin; but she's not going to put up with any of that kin's BS either. Theodora's going to have to learn to share her twin brother and that is all there is to that.

I almost said "Poor Ted," being the bone between two dogs like that, but then I considered his date performance again and figured naw, he can handle it.

All you can do is the best you can do.

The house I was playing had a family of teen-aged twins who had born in-game. Alejandro and Salvatore. They just came home from school and they each brought a friend home and those friends happen to be another family's in-game born Twin brothers! TWIN BFFS!

Uh oh! My social bar is low - that's why I posted today.

No, when I talk about the Hawkinses and Alma Maters and so on I'm in Drama Acres. Strangetown is only an occasional play for me and I'm really trying to stick to premade families. There's no guarantee my Loki'll get abducted, because I'm letting random chance have its way and the only guaranteed abductions are Pascal's and Vidcund's, which have already produced their babies in my game. I'd love it if he did, because his features just beg to be combined with alien genes.

And all the guys look cute in their default maternity outfits. This is the only case I can think of where the guys win out over the gals in the clothing department.

All you can do is the best you can do.

Started up a custom 'hood, Mountainview, so I'm going to be bouncing like a ball between three neighborhoods.

I created two sisters (created their parents in CAS then deleted them), Karen and Kayla Stephenson. Karen is now married to Malcolm Landgraab IV and Kayla to Gilbert Jacquet. See, Gilbert's halfway to old age and his mom was getting on his case about not marrying and giving her grandchildren, so he decided to settle on Kayla, who's a Pleasure Sim. I gave him a secondary aspiration of Family so he won't go nuts on me.

While on a date with Kayla, Gilbert's townie girlfriend caught them. You know what I hate? In a situation like that the offended townie will Network with the "cheater" and something bad happens...in this case Gilbert's reputation dropped. *facepalm*

So now Karen has given birth to Margaret Landgraab (named after her paternal grandmother) and Kayla is expecting twins.

I also just started a custom hood. Enchanted Valley, at least I think that's what it's called. Super lame name, I know. It's basically fairy tale and folklore characters in a modern-ish setting. So far I've got Odile, Odette, and Prince Siegfried from Swan Lake, as well as Snow White. I'm planning on firing up body shop once I finish my developmental portfolio and my paper for Life Span Development. The hardest part has been coming up with names, mostly last names. I want to do Red Riding Hood, but I'm stumped when it comes to a name for her.

Say no to bug babies.

Week three at the Werner residence. With Vincent gone, the family has been unsure of what to do with his bedroom, but Sonia's remodeled the living room and upstairs in any case. Now the house has an art nouveau theme going on, inspired by the art nouveau staircase that magically matched the original color scheme of the living room/dining room. Umeko got a new stereo system--because she can, and because she's Fortune aspiration--that Sonia mostly uses to blare 80s hits all hours of the day. Haru got a job and ranked up to the top, becoming an overachiever, which pleases her greatly; like her mother, she has the fortune aspiration. Unfortunately she hasn't gotten her first kiss yet. She tried to change that one night while Sonia and Umeko were fighting with each other because Kyo, Umeko's estranged husband, came over and made out with Sonia. While major stuff went down in the living room, Haru and Nova, Sonia's son, snuck into their mothers' bedroom. They were lying naked on the bed when an urge to do homework overwhelmed them, and so any relations between the almost-stepsiblings were averted.

Meanwhile Umeko had it out with Kyo downstairs and finally broke up with him. However, she was still mad at Sonia for letting him kiss her. It took a day or two for things to cool down, but Umeko and Sonia apologized to each other, and Sonia finally got her chance to propose.

Haru met a boy she likes more than Nova. They got to be friends, but he seems oddly evasive ever since that date they had where one of the townies died on the lot where they went to eat. He won't come over to visit and even gives her the stupid "phone repairman" line when she invites him. So, for now, Haru's lipginity remains intact.

The climax of the week occurred when Sonia nearly burnt the kitchen down. She and Umeko were both home with friends from work, Nova and Haru at their respective part-time jobs. Sonia's pork chops caught fire and sent Sonia, her friend from work, and Umeko's friend from work into a panic. With the only phone in sight of the fire, no one could calm down long enough to dial the fire department, and so most of the kitchen began to burn while the three sims did the fire-dance. Umeko, who had been spying on the neighbors through the telescope outside, rushed in just as Sonia tried to extinguish the blaze, catching fire herself. Luckily, Haru arrived home and phoned the fire department on her cell phone from outside. The firefighter came in time to save Sonia and most of the kitchen appliances; luckily the fire just missed the sofa across the room. Everyone went to bed exhausted, and those who could eat without falling asleep on their plate had some dinner to prevent stress-induced starvation. And one can only guess what Nova thought when he arrived home from work a few hours later to find most of the kitchen in ruin and the whole house smelling like smoke.

Not far from the Werners, Minh Ji moved into a small loft house and found a job in education. She's a high school teacher now, and she loves building skills for her next promotion. On the weekend, though, she finally went on a date with that triple-bolt cutie from downtown, one she'd had conversations with all week over the phone when she felt lonely in her new house. She was a total lady the whole time, giving only subtle cues about her attraction to him, and they had a wonderful afternoon together. They had lunch at a local Chinese restaurant and then went dancing, just before Minh decided to show him her new house (I'm actually rather proud of it). They finally let their hair down there, and then they decided to get married, which they did--they threw a wedding party that night. Both have work the next morning, but the mood boost from the wedding night should, if anything, make the morning commute a little easier to bear.

Kyo Yamamoto, alone in the house since Jen left for college and Umeko and Jen moved in with the Werners, has been embracing his freedom as a single man. He loves having a job and not having to worry about catering to wife and kids, not to mention all the new company he can have over without repercussions. To celebrate, he hired a maid and replaced the old minivan with a classic midlife crisis sports car in red paint. He threw a wild party one night, where he got busy with a woman he'd barely met in the hot tub he had installed on the roof, and two of his friends did work of their own on Jen's old bed.

Mostly, though, he's been romancing Leila Girard, who doesn't seem to mind the attention, even when she's about to marry someone else. They've gone out on the town several nights, and he's gotten naughty with her on more than one of those nights, at least twice in public. One evening, though, they had a particularly tender moment, sparked while they sang a sappy love song on karaoke together. The night descending, they went quietly back to Kyo's place, where he kissed her softly and made love to her--at least in my imagination--with the most affection he's ever felt towards any woman. He invited her to stay until he left for work the next morning, but sadly I think that was the end of his tender feelings toward her, as he set his mind back on achieving culinary celebrity and getting as many women into his bed, hot tub, and closet as he could.

I'm planning on firing up body shop once I finish my developmental portfolio and my paper for Life Span Development. The hardest part has been coming up with names, mostly last names. I want to do Red Riding Hood, but I'm stumped when it comes to a name for her.

Carmine Perrault?

(Carmine is a dark reddish color. Perrault, as in Charles Perrault, who was the original publisher of the fairy tale)

Simblr.
I'm also on GoS. I go on here for the community, not really for the downloading. Just being honest.

I'd love it if he did, because his features just beg to be combined with alien genes.

And all the guys look cute in their default maternity outfits. This is the only case I can think of where the guys win out over the gals in the clothing department.

No summoning aliens? Me, I like using mods that increase the chances of abductions, especially when playing with non-knowledge sims. In a way, it's more realistic to have a sim crying after being abducted, even if he or she wanted to 'meet aliens'.
