More an annoyance, than being unique. I have no record of my birth, I have no birth certificate. To make matters worse, according to my family I have 3 years that I was born in.

They all agree on the day and date, but the years have been screwed up between my parents and my Uncle who at the time filled in most of the paper work when my parents migrated.

Reply: I still dnn't know for a fact and have only one baby (toddler) photo I have ever seen. As far as my age, I have gone with the middle date all my life and continue to do so. I tried when I was 16 to find out more but unfortunately didn't come up with anything despite the costs involved. Basically it's a long complicated mess that I gave up trying to deal with.

Roxyy, thats a shame, i love looking back on my old things like my old baby clothes, m first pair of shoes, that little braclet plastic thing from hospital at birth, and my birth certificate. I would hate if i did'nt know any of that.Anyway..
so do you not know your correct age? so you could be 16, 17 or 18(just example) but you don't know because of the screw up?

Millions of words describe us being unique.
It will take too long to write everything down.

-The giant scar spanning my entire right knee from when I fell on wooden deck stairs and gouged my knee out.
-My creative writing style. It would be cliche to say that it's unlike anything you've ever seen before, but I do think it's different.
-The way I think in reverse- I always envision the end before the beginning, I write all of my articles backwards, etc.
-The way I try to find beauty in everything and often succeed... I think that a lot of people lose sight of that.
-The fact that I don't always need to be surrounded by friends. Sure, I love to go out, but I'm equally as happy to stay home on a Friday night and read.
-My various qualities of OCD; the way that I can't sleep unless it's pitch dark and dead quiet, the way two items of the same color have to be the same shade, etc.
-The way I can see a person and just start envisioning their story. I think it's a writer/journalist thing- I'm always looking for a story in everything.

Do I dare disturb the universe?

The way I can look at a person and notice things about the way they walk, talk, and behave that can tell me more about them than they're likely to actually tell me.

The way I think of the voices of people close to me as colors. My little sister is yellow, my dad is brown, my mom is grey, and my best friend is green.

The number of people who have told me that talking to me is like having a conversation with a 35-45 year old. It makes it hard to make friends my age, but I like the way I think.

Those are the only three that come to mind immediately.

Lazy's post below reminded me that I also only have one dimple... Also in my right cheek! How weird :]

I guess it's a trait I have that no one else in my family has - I have a very strong creative gene. I love creating fashion photography, fashion (clothes/pet clothes), and accessories (like in jewelry and brooches etc...) knitting, crocheting, and writing. I used to draw/paint a long time ago (and still do when i'm inspired) and I have an interest in making art dolls out of clay.

so ... that's how I believe I'm unique =P Also I have a broken (crooked) nose from falling off a swing when I was five due to the fact that I was swinging at a high range while standing on the swing.

Have you ever heard of synesthesia? Seems like you might be a synesthetic.

Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos.

I'm really good at hiding. Like I've never lost a game of hide-and-seek, ever. And its not like I'm tiny. I've average sized, maybe a bit on the short side. One time, the game had been over for a good twenty minutes before anyone found me. I'd heard them calling me, but I thought it was a trick. Everyone made fun of me for a bit after that...

I think the thing that makes me most unique is that I am adopted. I don't know where I come from or who I got my physical and personality traits from. My adopted family is Italian/Irish, all with dark hair and dark eyes. But, I stand out in the family being a blonde with green eyes. I can't help but wonder who I got those traits from. But, my adoption gave me a unique topic for my college essay .

Also, Eva Longoria is my third cousin (by adoption, of course).

I was actually watching a Science Channel docu on that today! I think it's fascinating, but I'm not really sure that I have it to a degree where I would be considered synesthetic. Sometimes certain words have a taste, or certain pieces of music have a color, but it's not like everything has a color or taste attached to it in my head.

I once read a really interesting book in which the protagonist's senses were scrambled- for example, he was hearing sights and tasting sounds. Wish I could remember the title... you would probably find it compelling and I would love to read it again.

Synaesthesia? Sometimes I like to give colours for all of the letters, like A is always red, D - green, and for songs, too. Am I synaesthetic?

That's one of the most common manifestations of synesthesia. However, the response must be automatic and involuntary, and consistent.

The thing that makes me unique is that I'm totally not unique.
