Please explain what irritates you and WHY to make it more of a discussion.

-My sister. Whom I have been watching for the past 8 hours. And I will continue watching her until 11:30 Aghhhh..... She's annoying she won't go to bed and she's banging all the pots and pans together and now I think I have a headache coming.

-People that can't get your name right after you've told them more then once. Like seriously is it that hard to remember the name Adrienne or Izzy???

-When my dad leaves the toilet seat up :eviltongu

It can be- you'd be surprised.

Okay, my annoyances:

-My sisters- they can be lovely, but they normally prefer being absolute pains, especially since the 11-year-old's discovered the 'joys' of bathroom hogging.

-My ex-aunt, who is making it her business to ruin everyone elses' lives.

-Homework! Especially the maths sort- I can always think of a hundred and one things I'd rather be doing.

-Teachers who see through excuses as to why you've not done/got your homework- it's embarrassing and they land you in detention too.

My little brother annoys me - i am an easy going person who gets along with everyone, i can be patient and i am generally a nice person but my brother pushes me over the edge, i loose my temper with him easily (i dont scream or anything i just loose it) .. i get irritable with him and impatient .. dont know why but geesh i tell him to be quiet, shut up alot .. i can hear myself nagging like lol .. i only do that to him lol

another thing that annoys me is when switches are not turned off when there is no plug in the socket, etc - it just seems to play on my mind and i have to turn it off lol

people who chew loudly. They don't even have to be smacking for it to annoy me. If I can hear them chewing, I get so irritated.

I'd have to say my biggest bet peeves have to do with the computer.

I can't stand it when people don't use punctuation; I can understand if someone doesn't know when to use the semi colon (I even have trouble with that) or if they make fragmented sentences but for goodness sake at LEAST use a period!

I also can't stand text type. You're not on a cell phone where ever letter is 10 cents, you're on the computer where you can use as many letters as you want for free!

Then I can't stand it when people get angry at you for asking them to type properly; I'm sorry but I can't understand you when you have a wall of text that is all "y u dun wan 2 tlk 2 mi!?!@111", looking at that and trying to decipher what is being said gives me a headache and I'm not going to talk to you if I have to translate everything you're saying.

Note: The punctuation thing doesn't apply to those who don't speak English as their native language; I know how hard it is to learn another language and all their rules.

Life isn't measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Totally agree omgshsarah I hate the sound of it, I hate to be mean but I tell the person to please chew with their mouth closed. I really can't stand when my sister makes annoying noises when she choose her food.

Here's your front row seat to the craziness that is Rabid :D.

-Waiters who ask if you'd like your change back when you go to pay the bill. That drives me insane... almost like they're insinuating how much you should tip them. I always tip lower if they ask that regardless of how good the service was- it's borderline rude and it really pisses me off.

-This is more of a senseless irritation, but I really don't like to be next to people who are eating in an area quiet enough that you can hear it. For example, sitting next to someone on the couch and having a snack. You can hear the liquid sound when they swallow and it irritates me. I have to get up and move because I can't tolerate it. I'm paranoid about people being able to hear me eating, and hearing them is nonetheless, if not more, annoying.

-Cats. Don't even get me started on cats. They're temperamental, finicky, and the entire population just loves to sneak up on me. I have a friend whose cat sleeps in her bathroom sink- I didn't know that and went to use her bathroom. I didn't notice the cat until I went to wash my hands... scared the bejeezus out of me.

-People who perform bodily functions in the company of others really irritate me. People with bad etiquette in general drive me insane... probably because I was raised by two of the most mannerly parents a person could (not) wish for. If someone doesn't put a napkin in their lap to eat, I have this horrible urge to do it for them. Breaking wind, belching, etc drive me nuts. I was raised to leave the room if I so much as had to blow my nose or cough more than twice in a row, so just about any display of bodily functions disgusts me.

-Men without chivalry irritate me. They're hard to find indeed, but I could never be with a guy who didn't have classic manners. A man should always hold the door for a woman, complications notwithstanding. He should always offer her his jacket if she's cold. He should always open the car door for her. Call me old-fashioned, but it's the way I was brought up.

-Improper grammar really gets on my nerves. If English isn't your first language, then I understand and forgive completely, because God knows I make enough mistakes with my French. But if you're a native English speaker, then you should be able to articulate yourself properly in both spoken and written word. We all have minor slip-ups and there's nothing wrong with that, but it's people who publish written work with improper grammar that get to me. It's not the reader's job to decipher your writing and there's no excuse.

-Cracking gum. Seriously. Grow up.

Told you I was crazy :P.

Do I dare disturb the universe?

Alrighty lets start this.....

-People who show too much love in public.
Hate it! The kind of people that make-out on a bench while people are walking by.

-Dogs that sniff you, but you can't touch them.
If they don't want to get touched...why run up to me?!

-People that don't know you and they talk to you.
If I'm sitting in class (usually close to the door) and it's reading period and I'm not reading doesn't mean stop reading your book and try to talk to me.
One day I was sitting there and reading period is in my third period class (Biology) this kid next to me....started talking to me.
I did the 'Stop talking and let me be wierd' smile and looked away.

-The copiers....
This one kid talks to me, he says different things.
I brought up a topic that he's talkid about, but he modified what I just said.
I pointed it out to him...he still does it!

-People who act like cats are dirt.
Cats are basicly my best friends.
They don't talk they're all lovey and look friggin' cute when they're asleep.
People that act like they are gross, fungus, tweerps aren't cool, most of the same people like dogs. So in my head (after their done complaining) I think that dogs wipe their butts all over and don't clean themselves.

-Guys that don't treat girls how their supposed to.
The girls know how their boyfriends are supposed treat them.
The dudes get in their car and the girl has to get in her self.
"Playing around" with the girl.
She doesn't like it, she shows it, but likes him so much that she acts like it's fine.

-Leaving shoes untied
If it's someone that I know at school and they know that their shoe is untied, I step on it.
It's annoying. If you know it's untied...fix it!

-Flip-flops!
Hate them!
The sound they make on jeans is even worse!
I hate feet so seeing toes is... *gag*

So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
I should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

I guess I irritate you, then . I have good reason to hate them, though... I'm allergic to them.

Haha Rabid, I have such a problem with cracking gum. It annoys me when other people do it, but I can't seem to keep myself from doing it. haha :P

It bugs me when people swish their milk or jello in their mouth. Alot of my friends used to do this when we were younger and it would totally gross me out!!

Bugs in general irritate me. They're always around when you don't want them and seem to jump out at me in the most annoying way. Not to mention most of them are hideously disgusting and creepy.

Blood. ew.

People who are afraid to make eye contact bug me. It's like, hello, i can tell you're staring at my lips and this is getting kind of awkward. Along these same lines is the creepy old men who stare at my boobs when talking to me. Working at a pharmacy, I get alot of this. >:\

How my grandfather doesn't wash his hands after he goes to the bathroom, then touches everything in the house.

Ehh...you're not that crazy Rabid...I've met crazier people, trust me

Anywho my pet peeves, if I can think of them, are small and many:

-B.O: I don't know why some people I've met insist that they still smell like flowers and shtick when they haven't bothered showering in 4 days and refuse to or haven't heard of wearing deodorant, try to hug me. Um, if you can't at least find a decent body spray or find how to use deodorant to cover the fumes, don't bother. I can't stand the smell.

-Cats: My parents have three of them and all I can say is Aug 23rd (my move in date for college) is taking to long to get here. They're cute, but hugely irritating and many of them have a agenda against me or a Scare the Crap/Annoy the Hell out of Lauren agreement amongst each other.

-People who insist on sneezing without covering their mouths: That is pretty explantory.

-Other people's filth: I can stand my own messes, thank you very much, but if someone leaves their room looking like a pig sty and its near mine, I have the urge to clean it...I have no idea why that is.

- Loud, obnoxious jerks in the Library/Movies: I've been one of those who talks during the movie, but only to the person sitting next to me, while some people at the movies that I've seen insist on talking to the entire audience. And the people who have the urge to sit next to me in the Library and talk to themselves/on the phone/ or just make a ruckus with their books or eating when they shouldn't get on my nerves pretty quickly.

thats all I can think of right now...

I notice their fluffy annoyingness when they make my eyes itch and my sinuses swell up. And thank you, Chester... it's all about letting out the crazy in short bursts so no one knows .

I HATE it when people talk to me quietly, my mom loves to just move her lips and insinuate what she wants me to do. She also makes weird facial expressions while doing it, GAH. So annoying, just say it out loud!

Wow, I'm really the opposite when it comes to chivalry. I mean, it wouldn't piss me off if a guy held up the door for me or anything (but I'd be weirded out if it was ostentatious) but if he only did that because I'm a woman I wouldn't like it. I would also never let a guy buy me dinner. Everyone should open the door for everyone else, IMO. Manners shouldn't be assigned to a gender.

But anyway, about the little things that piss me off...

- People who disturb your night's sleep. Unforgivable. Could be idiots talking in the hallway, a random party next door, and so forth.

- People who talk too loudy. My ears, it hurts, seriously.

- Hypochondria. Stop whining.

I hate it when songs get stuck in my head. It seems like there's a song in my head 24/7.

And like Humblebumble said, people who disturb your night's sleep. Last night there was a group of teens talking right in front of our house at 12:30 am! They woke my whole family up and they didn't leave until we told them to and hour later.

I hate when somebody is using the microwave and takes the food out early but doesn't push the clear button. It just annoys the crap out of me. My sisters used to do that just because they knew it bugged me. Oh yeah, my sisters can irritate me too haha. It also irritates me when people crack their fingers/neck/spine (that one especially grosses me out). I just can't stand it lol. It also irritates me when people don't wash their hands after they use the bathroom, ew.

i have to agree with Humble i hate it when guys are being nice to me just because they know they have to, I can pay for my own drinks,dinner..etc.i guess most of the time it reads fake for me, maybe romance is dead? Hopefully not.
one of my major pet peeves is when someone leaves a cabinet door open in the kitchen..really how hard is it to get what you want and then close the door?
Or how about when someone uses the last of the toilet paper and doesn't bother to put a new roll on? Very bad!

I agree with Humble and Zzelda said about people being loud when you are slieeping.
God! My mom and dad always do that when I am sleeping!

It also irritates me when people come to shake your hand, but they hold it like you have rabies or something! I mean, when people hold it limp in your hand and, geez it's so rude!

When someone's tag is sticking out on there neck. Yeah it annoys me.

Oh and the thing I hate the most is "wen ppl tlk lyke dis and dont use prper gramer."
I hate that!

-Checkers who don't give you the metal change back first (before the paper) and just set it on top of the cash, while I'm trying to get my bags and my purse and herd my husband through, so I just dump it into my bag. I also hate people who rush you along and don't give you enough time to get your stuff from the lane.

-People who weren't taught to do laundry or who were taught to do it wrong. Before we lived together, my husband just put everything in the wash and ran it in cold water. He's not allowed to do laundry unless its just his clothes.

-People who don't pick up after themselves. I work in retail and I occasionally work the fitting room, and it just amazes me that people can be so messy in a public place.

-People who think they're just so great and so healthy because they're skinny, and that you should have to be like them. My sister and mom are culprits here. I'm a bit overweight (nothing in the dangerous range, just about 20 pounds) and most of my family is athletic and skinny and it just kills them that I'm not the same way. At least my mom is nice about it, my sister turns everything I say into a tirade as to why I'm so big and why I don't want to go out and play sports with them. Grrr...

I'm crazy I know

Photo-I can relate to the change thing. I also hate when they put the receipt on top of the paper and the change on top of that, or even if there is no metal change. It just annoys me because I feel rushed to move along and usually just shove it in my purse. I really wish they'd all ask if you wanted your receipt in the bag or with you.
