Must be a very special person to want to be bound to him/her for the next seven lives. Whatever happened to till death or divorce do us part? What if you reincarnate in the same gender and can't marry or fall in love again?

I don't know. I'm skeptical. I have never had any "supernatural" experience that has led me to believe that there is something beyond the physical world. But on the other hand, it's hard to believe that this Earth formed exactly the way that humans need to live on it, and that we humans formed, and that we laugh and love and cry, and that all just happened by coincidence. This is going to sound corny, so if you want you can skip this bit But just the sheer volume and horribleness and wonderfulness of human emotion doesn't seem as if it could just be created by chance, without anything out there influencing it.Take for example the basic human reproducing system, sex. THAT is a wonderful and emotional experience (if you're doing it with someone you care about). It is not like when dogs and cats breed. Why not? What I'm leading up to here is that I sometimes believe there is something out there, forces, that have made the world the way it is. And if there is, then why can't reincarnation be true? Why can't that inner self that loves and hates come back and learn a different lesson? I dunno. That's just my humble opiniuon :D |

![]() I think we carry genetic memory from very far back. That could explain why we are capable of strong, raw and sometimes primitive emotion. Animals experience strong emotions, too. We just call them instincts. I dont think the supernatural has to be "supernatural" at all. Its probably beyond our current knowledge about ourselves, and therefor we label it "super"-something. |

i believe in past lives, i know for a fact that one of my past lives i lived in the victorian era, i was very rich and in my early 20's. I lived off of my parents money, i didn't work, i had a fiance. I remember sitting in my room, combing my long red ponytail that i wore in front, my fiance met me outside and we went on a stroll in town and i turned around and saw a tall man, and i was murdered. now in my life now, when i was 7 or 8 i used to see people of the victorian era sitting in my room on my dresser. (ghosts) and my family has wondered how i knew of the victorian era when i was real little, i was fascinated by it, and at the same time scared of it. When i see a movie or something about that time i feel like i WAS there, its really odd. if i didnt have this experience idk if i would believe in past lives. i guess its something you have to experience first hand. |

I can't say I believe in it too much. However, there was this programme on TV one time, about a like 8 year old boy, who remembered EVERYTHING about his 'past life'. He remembered sitting by the fire in a little cottage with his wife and stuff. They eventually managed to go to the place where he said he was from, and everything was exactly as he described it. Even the little fire. It was weird. If past lives are true, then I guess I must've been stabbed or something. I hate anyone using sharp knives, and it freaks me out to even look at the knife itself. I also have alot of nightmares with me getting stabbed on my right side. Idk, but it's weird sometimes. It's not like just a fear, because I'm also afraid of spiders, but the knife thing is different. I've never been badly cut by a knife either so it can't be that. Creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy. :frog: |

I believe in it to an extent. I don't want to say that we die and that's it, but I also don't believe in heaven and hell because those concepts were created to imbibe moral character in others. Although, I'm fairly certain, if I had a past life, that I was a cat. A fat house cat. I'm serious. I have very cat-like tendencies, from napping in the sun to absolutely abhorring getting my face wet. |

i like to believe that when you die, if you were bad or murdered or just have unfinished buisness then you get stuck on earth as a spirit (yes, i believe in ghosts) and if you are ready to move on, your spirit is thrown into a baby thats about to be born, weather is human, or animal! or maybe even insect :/ |

I believe that past lives are something to learn from and it quite contrary to my belief that heaven and hell do exist. However, Ancient Gnostics believe that we are bound to this earth by material desires (like Buddhists do) but we reach knowledge in order to get to the Pleroma. For me, I was a school teacher who was murdered in one life, then the woman running the inn in the next. But it takes me a while to realize which is a true past life and which is fake due to my ever increasing knowledge of what is experience in all my lives. I hope to make it to the Pleroma to be with God. There is a soul and it was a spark of pleroma that turns into human and other sentient beings after each and every reincarnation. That is similar to genetic memory except each soul develops differently. |

God, please protect me from your idiot followers for they have blinded themselves with bleach. Money doesn't buy you happiness but it buys you beer and coffee. Life is like Go. Its takes smart and amoral people to make decisions based on their strategies of living. |
