Personally I am not that excited about it... Why?

A. I'd rather have a KOTOR III
B. Since it's an MMO it will most likely have a monthly fee

I am relatively new to KOTOR. I've had it for two-three years and just started really playing it. lol

But I agree with you, they shoulf have a third not a whole new one.

I want both an MMO and another one of the KOTOR single player games. Or just another single player game in the Star Wars universe done in the same way as the KOTOR games (except finished and less buggy) in any era where Luke Skywalker and Jar Jar are not around in any fashion.

I can't wait! My hubby and I have been searching for a good MMO to play since we quit EQ2 months ago. We have some very good friends from EQ2 who also quit so we all need something to do together. Hope it lives up to our standards!

The development of this game would have no impact on the development of a KOTOR III. This is predominantly being handled by BioWare Austin (not the main development arm of BioWare which is in Edmonton, Canada).

In addition it is safe to say any future KOTOR games will be developed by Obsidian not Bioware as Bioware tend to have a habit of farming out their sequel content to this developer.

Anyway if there is one MMO that will be able to stand up to WoW this could very well be it. Just so long as it can get over the reputation hurdle that the now dessolate Star Wars: Galaxies created.

This is a much better Star Wars setting for an MMO. I'm quite curious to see how it will come out.
