I have a problem... I have this small tribe with only few creatures, and there is this Epic creature who kills most of my creatures and even my main creature sometimes And I dunno how to kill him? I've red that I should lure him into my nest since that's where I fill my energy and then to attack him, since he can't do anything to me, but well...that's not working... Any ideas? |

Epics are hard to kill due to the combination of their high health score and ability to kill creatures in one-two hits. Quote:

I rarely have problems with Epics when I play the Tribal stage. Maybe the epics are just afraid of my creatures?... then again, most of my epics turn out to be friendly herbivores. *shrug* |

Once you're in civilization stage, you can use religious vehicles to tame Epics. Then they'll follow your vehicles and attack whatever they attack. Kinda fun making it play godzilla on my enemies. Military vehicles just kill them and economic can't do anything to them. |

From the sounds of the first post, they are talking about Creature stage, not Tribal. ![]() I killed an epic in Creature Stage and got the achievement. Took be forever and I only got it becuase I used a bunch of trees to slow it down. Long range attacks help a lot, as does having wings and a high jump, to avoid any ground attacks. |

I had an epic that kept attacking my tribe when they went to destroy another tribe. There wasn't much I could do about it so I just waited until the civilization stage and got my revenge on it. |

Hm, if you're in the creature stage, try moving to a new nest. It may take a few times, but at least you'll get away from the epic until you can evolve. If you have fast feet and spit 5 you can shoot the epic and kill it -- it does take forever though. If you're in tribe stage, hm, that's a bit harder. Though usually by tribe stage my creatures have maxxed weapons and wings and can take out epics fairly easily with everyone using spears. Good luck! |

This is what I do, when an epic comes near my tribe. *Well, when I was in tribe stage* I opened up the cheat box, and used the cheat: refillMotives, every time that any of my tribe member's energy got low. Also, if you get all the slots filled with tribe members *12, I think* you can easily take down an Epic, with that cheat. I took an epic down in each stage, its not that hard with skill, and cheats.

I've killed epics in tribal stage. It's actually not terribly difficult - especially with jump/fly. Your creatures usually can withstand two hits from an epic, so you'll have to pay close attention. Send up one creature and get the attention of the epic, and then have them start running away. Send the rest of your tribe after the epic to attack, while still running the original creature away in front of them. If the epic's attention changes to one of your attackers, it becomes the new bait. Send the bait creature running away from the epic and have everyone else attack. If a creature gets hit by the epic, send them back to your home base to rest. |

Omg I didn't know you could tame them =O! Thats beyond epic! No pun intended. I once found an epic attacking an enemy city during Civ' stage, and took advantage of the situation and attacked them as well... but I didn't realize I could just tame one... |
