Total Design






Hello! My name is Ridley Drake. This competition is one to design at decorate a home for myself and my family. I am married with four kids. I have 16 year old twins, Katie and Kyle, an 8 year old daughter named Kassie and a 2 year old boy named Taylor.
For the contest you will be building and designing a home for us. We're very excited and grateful to have so many wonderful people to help us out. We aren't the best at it.
Each round you will be given a task to complete. The rounds will be [roughly]:
*Round One-Design the floorplan of the house. Basically, put up the walls.
*Round Two-Decorate: Living room, Kitchen, bathroom.
*Round Three-Decorate: Selected Bedrooms
*Round Four-Decorate: Anything else you've put in [a second bathroom, a study, etc.] and put the final touches on the home.



*No sim stealing or home stealing. Stealing is bad, children.
*If you apply, please intend to stay in the competion. We all know how frustrating drop outs are.
*Follow the guidelines set in the round.
*You may have one designer, or a team of two designers.



*Designer's name, age, and location.
*One photo of your designer[s].

Why would you be the best designer for this job? Designing of houses from interior to exterior is my life. I have a passion for little things that make a house a home. And I will not stop until I know my client is satisfied and happy with their home.





What is your favorite thing about this room? This is one of my favourite rooms I have designed and the reason why is because I made a little working space into something roomy and comfortable to relax in. Colour coordination and style is what makes a room beautiful.

Why would you be the best designer for this job? I would be the best designer for this job because I graduated from the top design school with honors and I’ve been designing for 11 years, so I have experience. I specialize in family residential and family community lots, so I’m a family’s dream.




What is your favorite thing about this room? My favorite thing about this room is the feel. It feels very professional and relaxed at the same time, perfect for working parents. They have a place to sleep and a place to work with a stereo if they want to relax and goof off.

Why would you be the best designer for this job? I myself have a family, and I know what a house needs to make a family feel comfortable. I've graduating from design school, and have proven to be able to successfully design homes of all kinds of themes. My favorite designing jobs, however, are those for a cozy family home.







What is your favorite thing about this room? The light colors seem to give the room a slightly "happy" feel, its inviting like a family space and yet still gives off the feeling of professionalism.
