Contest Info

Welcome to Fashion Forward
This Contest is based on the popular show: Project Runway So that
means you are going to be making clothes for the Sims! This contest is all
about your artistic skills and how to come up with something with in a short
amount of time. It is going to be all about how well made your clothing is and
how well it is executed so that means how well your hair,make up, and back
round goes with your outfit.

• Photoshop skills are needed or any other program that can make a your
  photos look superb.

• Your graphics have to be good try not to have blurry pictures because cleanness is what we aim for.

• Be prepared to send in your clothes to me because I don't want you
  photoshopping random clothes on sims.

• Do not and I repeat DO NOT steal any sims 2 creations. If I find
  out that you stole you will get eliminated. That includes textures from other
  creators, I want original textures that you have made yourself.

• Using pictures of clothing and using them to make an outfit is permitted.
  For example if you see a t-shirt that has a certain pattern or look to it that
  you want to use to make a t-shirt for your sims is fine.

• You will be judged on the quality of your clothes so try not to have
  empty parts where they are not supposed to be

• You will get 4-6 days to make your creations, the weekends will be spent on judging.

• This contest is only for people that make Adult Female Sims (Just like in
  project Runway)

• No made up answers. Tell me about you because you are the one making
  the clothes.

2-3 pictures of your past work: show clothing that you have made that portrays your style as a
designer.please show your model from head to toe front and back.

Putting up a link of a sim page whether if its your sims 2 site or your mod the sims creaters page is also accepted (please no sim exchange pages or insim)
But post one past outfit that you have made if you are going to link to a page that has your creations.

i will post links to were you can find meshes that will help you for the certain round. such as if i am telling you guys to make a suit for female women i would link to http://www.carnabysims.com/ though if you find another suit mesh (either from the game or from another website) you are free to use them as well just try to make them free meshes if it isnt free, its ok we aren't distributing the creations. unless if we all in a whole decide to distribute them (such as create a new account at mod the sims 2 just for the contest creations) then we wouldn't make that certain creation public only if you decide to distribute it on your own.

Tempting indeed... I guess I'll have enough free time this month, but my pc is a real pain, and simming on it kind of makes me sick This seems like a great contest though, I'll think about it some more.

May I ask how many round there will be and how many creations total we will make. I would love to join but with school and other contests time is limited.

hmm. well for each round you will only need to make 1 creation except for the last round where you make 3 creations. im not sure how much rounds there will be. but it will most likely be 3-4 rounds. im not totally sure yet but its around that.

Ok, I may be able to do that, give me a little while to take pitures and link some from mts2

edit. no the clothing that she entered is fine. those clothes are from mod the sims that she has created.

I would totally join if I had any skill at all with making sims clothes.

I love designing real clothes, but I am seriously horrible at all this photoshop business.

i like how you showed a link to your mod the sims page. i will take them in account for your past work.

you don't need to use photoshop you can use GIMP which might be easier and its free. you only need to know how to use a graphic editor program to make clothes and to put your sim in different environments that go good with the outfit.

So is there going to be 4 rounds?
