That's okay, pinkstar! PM me and I'll give you my MSN and maybe we can do it together! What I'll do is get Round Two up, and that way those that want to can start on it, and those that do not don't have to just yet.

You can keep your knight in shining armor. I'll take my country boy in turn-out gear!

I'm totaling now! Please excuse the hurriedness of this particular 'Green Room'. It's just that dinner is on and I'm going to eat and put my three year old to bed soon! So no picture of Piper for this elimination!

You can keep your knight in shining armor. I'll take my country boy in turn-out gear!

Okay, we're waiting on one score. I've totaled everyone, and am eagerly awaiting a last score. Someone was overlooked in judging!

I understand, and I apologize. It was my intent to have this posted hours ago, but circumstances deemed otherwise.

I have decided that this round will not have an elimination, due to two drop outs by no show at Round One. So you'll have Round 2 momentarily.

Welcome, Contestants, to Round Two of Top Design!

You have NO BUDGET for this round.

This time, you'll have clients to design for. The catch, since you knew there would be one, is that you won't actually MEET your clients. You will get a short description of their hobbies, likes and dislikes. You'll design a bedroom from there!

Picture Requirements
1 overhead shot.
1 shot of you in the room - I want to see your face, please.
6 close shots of the room.

YOU get to decide the size on this room! Woo hoo freedom!

You're required to include the following in the bedroom:
A bed.
A dresser or closet, or both.
A desk.
Something that fits the client's hobby (or hobbies).

You'll notice that each client has a wish for their room. Pay attention to it! Remember, you're designing for the CLIENT first, not the judges!

Now, look for your name, and learn about your client!

Adz Burnett
Your client is female. She likes to paint, draw, and read. She loves the colors pink, light blue, and purple. She hates black, neon colors, and green. She loves teddy bears, and would like to have a reading nook in her room.

Armana Demetri

Your client is female. She likes to play soccer (football to you, Mumo!), basketball, and any other sport she can get her hands on. She loves the colors blue, red, and green. She hates pastels, black, and pink. She has a lot of trophies to display, and would like to have a window seat for the rare times she's sitting still!

Audrey DeBarbarak
Your client is male. He enjoys being out in nature, fishing and gardening. He likes neutral colors such as brown and black, and dark green. He does not like neons, pink, or blue. He displays a bug collection proudly, and would also like a window seat to observe nature out of.

Beate Broberg
Your client is male. He enjoys reading and writing, school in general. He also enjoys computers. He likes blues, greens, and reds, but hates blacks and greys. He's very introverted. He needs lots of storage for his computer stuff, and would like to have a 'gaming nook' in his room.

Billi Thurston
Your client is male. He is a musician, playing piano, violin, and guitar. He likes woods, black, and white. He despises green and carpeting. He also enjoys listening to music. He needs a place to play his music, and would like to have a keyboard in his room.

Carolyn Green

Your client is female. She's a dancer, mostly ballet but she also does some jazz dancing. She likes pink, black, and white. She doesn't really dislike any colors. She'd like a place to display her old pointe shoes and other dance paraphernalia. She'd also love to have her own vanity table to get ready for recitals at.

Celeste Moranni

Your client is female. She's very active, and loves her dogs. She likes cheerful, bold colors. She dislikes pastels and soft colors. She would like a place to do her yoga in her own room, with a sound system to play music on. She'd also like a nook for her dogs to hang out in with her!

Chloe Chanelle
Your client is male. He is very into books, and likes to draw. He likes 'boy colors'. He doesn't like 'girl colors'. He needs lots of shelf space and lots of desk room to draw and put his huge collection of books. He'd also love to see a wall mural on his wall.

Gerbera Svorsky
Your client is female. She's a 'girly girl', and hates to be dirty. She loves pink, white, and polka dots. She hates blue, black, and stripes. She'd love to have a new vanity table to play with makeup at. She'd also love a canopy 'princess' bed.

Jaimee Liddell
Your client is female. She's a tomboy, loves to be outside playing with the boys. She likes blue, bold colors, and green. She hates pinks and pastels. She'd like to have lots of windows, and she wants to be able to roll around on the floor with her dogs.

Mina Carter
Your client is male. He's used to sharing a room with his big brother, who's now off to college. He's very excited about finally having room for his poker table. He's a young poker phenomenon, who loves chip colors: red, white, green, and black. He dislikes pink extremely. Big brother taught him to play poker, and he wants a place to play with friends and big brother when he's home.

ROUND ENDS ON MAY 27th AT 10 AM MY TIME.

[CENTER]CONFESSION QUESTIONS: (I had such a duh moment at 1 AM that I forgot to put them on here!)

1) What was it like designing without knowing your client?
2) You had no budget this time, what was that like?
3) Would you rather have a face to face with a client, or not know?
4) What do you think of your scores from last round?
5) What do you think about the top three designers in the next round possibly having a useful advantage? Is it fair or unfair?

You can keep your knight in shining armor. I'll take my country boy in turn-out gear!

Not to be a bother, but I don't have the pets expansion currently, so creating a pet-centric room would prove rather difficult. I suppose I could go out and purchase that expansion pack anyway, if that's recommended.

No. I'll change your client around a little. I should have posted and had everyone PM which EPs they have.

Ok, there ya go! Your client is now altered. Anyone else who DOES NOT have an EP that would make your room hard to do, please let me know.

Gerbera, please note that I've added one thing to your client!

Yeah I was wondering the same thing.

Or if you can't tell us that, can you tell us if all the clients are around the same age?

Chelly, I don't know how I'll be able to put a lot of sports and dance stuff in the room as I don't have Freetime yet. Would it be at all possible to change?

Many thanks.

Even though there weren't eliminations in Round One, are we still going to be able to see our scores?

The scores are coming, honestly they are! One of the links in the contestant post was misplaced so I had trouble finding one of the entrants, all the scores are now with Chelleypie so you should ahve them as soon as she's finished being a mum for the day!

I would also like to clarify how old my client is.
The description makes it sound like she's a child, but I just want to make sure.

I think not know the age is kinda adding to the challenge of being a designer, and when I first read it, I figured that the age wouldn't be announced because of the challenging matter and because she stated that the client wouln't e announced, but hey. Anyways, this round makes me wish I was in the contest, not a judge. It make sit sound so fun!

Yeah, I figured the ages weren't announced on purpose, but thought I'd double check.

In other news, 15x20 is a huuuge room!

I agree, 15 by 20 is pretty large for a single room.

Okay, let me address these concerns individually before I post the scores from the last round!

First of all, no elimination for Round One, due to two drop outs.

The room IS a bit big. So you guys now get to decide how big to make it!

There has been a question about building OUT, for those that have outdoorsy clients. This is allowed, since there is no budget.

aimsme, your client will be redone momentarily.
Vintage_Heart, blueforred, Remyohmy: The theme is 'Mystery Client'. How old do YOU think these clients are? Design from there. That's part of the challenge.

You can keep your knight in shining armor. I'll take my country boy in turn-out gear!
