It will be your duty as a builder/designer to make these otherwise outre places still feel like home. Rules: One entry per contestant There will be no eliminations All forum rules apply. There will be no budgets, so spend as you will! If you have questions, please pm me! Custom content is allowed NO photoshoping, except for creating collage photos. Be polite If you need an extension you must PM at least 12 hours before the round ends. Picture requirements for each round: 1)1 Overview of Exterior (entire lot, not an aerial) 2)1 Areial of each floor, not to exceed 3 3)Up to 3 Photos, which can be collages; featuring interior, exterior and any other special lot features. For a total of up to 7. Rounds Applications: Hansel & Gretyl: June 16 to June 22 Round 1: Chronicles of Valdemar: June 23 to June 29 Round 2: Swiss Family Robinson: June 30 to July 6 Round 3: The World of Pern: July 7 to July 13 Round 4: It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Superman!: June 14 to July 20 Note: You don't have to have read/know about each story, there will be enough info posted to explain each round, sometimes with pictures even Judges: Judge 1) longdaysend Judge 2) CisteCaise Judge 3) SimsArtThat EJ 1) grayx3eyedsoul EJ 2) pux- 80's Scores will be based 50/50 on Beauty and Creativity Prizes: 3rd place will receive 1 house of their choice, 2nd place 2 houses of choice, and 1st will receive all three. I need Judges please ,and, no photo and Ciao Alora, You can't judge, I need you to enter!!! lol! Edit: It would help if I posted the app wouldn't it ?? lol! It's already been a long day! Hansel und Gretyl: "...and they followed it until they reached a little house, on the roof of which it alighted; and when they approached the little house they saw that it was built of bread and covered with cakes, but that the windows were of clear sugar." Build and decorate a sweet and tasty home and lot for The Witch, Hansel, and Gretel; that exemplifies the story. This should only be a one story home, but you may have decorative non-living floors, such as a tower or a "widow's walk". This should be built on a lot no larger than 3x3. Picture requirements for round: 1)1 Overview of Exterior (entire lot from side to side, not an aerial) 2)1 Aerial, interior 3)Up to 3 Photos, which can be collages; featuring interior, exterior and any outbuildings or lot features.

As it happens, I was using the same wallpapers as well, though I expect that most who enter this will be using a lot of the same things. Katt, what time on Sunday is the deadline for entries? I'm planning on entering this, and had a lot mostly finished last night after working on it for a few hours....then when I went to save it, the game crashed and I lost it all But I guess this will give me a chance to redo a few of the things I wasn't quite happy with. Almost makes me wonder if there's something about entering contests that makes your game blow up...since there seems to be a lot of it going around lately among people who are in contests.

I'm sure the pictures aren't the greatest, but I did my best to show what needed to be shown while staying within the contest and forum guidelines for picture size and number of pictures. Images were sharpened a bit, and corners cropped off on a few to eliminate irrelevant outdoor background I couldn't avoid...if this is a problem, please let me know and I'll redo them as needed. Overview from the front of the house Aerial of the house and outbuilding (the small interior balcony seen in the collages below is not shown in an aerial as I didn't feel it really constituted a 2nd level) Collage 1 - Dining/Living Room, balcony Collage 2 - Kitchen and Bathroom (outhouse) Collage 3 - Night shot, front door detail, bedrooms The idea here was to try to combine a modern concept of a gingerbread house with its whimsy and bright cheerful decorations, with the feel of a medieval cottage in the form of the medium/dark wood furnishings (modern toilet aside). I'll leave it to the judges to decide if I've been successful
