I don't know how to make one myself and I figured someone out there had already done it. I am looking for a collection folder of all the base game buy items. I don't know how to tell what item is from which ex. pack and I'd like to be able to furnish houses that anyone can use.

Have you tried the Any Game Starter by Numenor? It's quite awesome if you only want to play certain EPs. You can play the base game alone, that is if you only wanted to make a home using only base game compatible stuff.

I second what fway said. If you build a house using a game with expansion packs installed it doesn't matter what furniture you have in it as it still won't be base game compatible, but will require all the expansions you had installed at the time. If you want to create base game compatible houses, your best bet is to use the Any Game Starter and build in a base game only game.
