^^^ poll! I want to know how many people are getting it! I like ts2 better, its just easier and ts3 is too hi tec for me... I built up an empire in ts2 anyway.

I can't afford it right now. Well I can.. but I can't afford the upgrades to my computer that would allow me to play it  So I have to wait a little while 'til I get some money for 1 gb ram and a new graphics card.

Yeah, I agree. My comp is fair good but I dont think it will hold TS3 anyway. And $90.. I mean, I have all EPs and all but 2 SPs, so why just throw them away for some new game? I spent hundreds of dollars on all my games and I cant have both

I'm getting it. :P But only after I decided that TS3 is more of a live mode game. That way I can "play" TS3, but build in TS2. |

My comp would need a major upgrade to play the game - a new graphic card, a bigger RAM, a better power supply, a faster processor ... so it would be wiser to buy a completely new comp. The problem is, I'm not ready to say goodbye to my old comp, I like him, I even gave him a pet name, Mikey  It works perfectly with SimCity and it even runs Sims 2 with all expansions, I just have to be careful and patient, no quick moves on bigger lots or my sweetheart starts to stutter immediately  So Sims 3 will have to wait till I'm ready to let my old compy go ... just not yet, not yet

I'm getting it today or tomorrow, hopefully. None of the quetions apply to me, so I'll just say I'm not getting it because the sims 3 needs more hate. :3 I already know exactly what family I'm going to create first a second. First a test family and then Cinderella! *I am a huuuuge Cinderella geek* I'm really really looking forward to it, though! I won't give up sims2 because I just got good at making CC for it, but sims3 sounds kinda fun to play. |

Not yet, I still don't even have all of TS2 eps! I'll probably think about getting it ina few months or when I start seeing cc's and a new ep. |

Ahh! Even though I said I didnt want it I am growing on it and am so tempted to make a self-sim! I cant wait to have different sims with different weights and customise everything and jsut have a whole new adventure! Hehe. I cant wait to play it, mum's getting it on the way home! ..I hope my computer is good enough for it.. On the offical sims 3 forums, people have been giving some pretty bad reviews.. :[ It costs $100 here in Australia, well in all the places my mum checked. Heaps of people in America say they got it for around $50, which is around $62 AU dollars.. I feel pretty ripped off :/ (well, for my mum :P) |

I have to wait till christmas or something. I bought a new graphics card, all by myself (for 109 dollars) But it didn't fit in the computer. So I have to get a new computer (for about 560 dollars) then I'll be able to play sims 2. I'll play sims 2 untill christmas, when I'll get a electic guitar and SIms 3 (dunno what I'll play more) |
