Hey all!

I've had a few good solid hours of gameplay behind me now and I've come across 2 things I can't seem to figure out;

1. My sim wants to grow ingredients to het meal, but I can't find how to do that! The wish says she can take a course, but I can't find a 'growing vegtables' course anywhere... Does anyone know where I can do this?

2. I've been trying to build a house with foundations, but there is NO WAY I am able to put stairs to get to the foundation... *freaks out*

Can someone help me out with this? Thanks a lot in advance!

You take a gardening course, not a growing vegetables course. You can either buy foods at the grocery store and plant the seeds or go around town and find seeds.

Sometimes the foundation is too close to the sidewalk and you can't seem to put stairs on diagonal foundation. Try adding the stairs on a different side of the foundation or moving the foundation.

1. She needs to learn gardening--you can read a book to get the first skill point, and then you get free seeds to plant. You can also search the town for secret seeds.

2. I was able to put stairs on my foundation...I don't know what's wrong in your case. Sorry.

Oooh, that really helped ^^ (Yeah, I guess my foundation was a bit too close to the sidewalk...)

Thanks to both!

My Sim took vegetables from her inventory and "planted" them. I think the first was lettuce. Later she planted grapes. She had no skill in gardening before that.

I guess I was mistaken--I thought you had to have at least on skill in gardening. I knew you could plant produce, though, but I haven't tried. I think I might try to make a watermelon patch so I won't have to keep buying watermelon for my pregnant sims that want girls...
