Does anyone know if there is a hack that allows Active Household Aging ON, Neighbourhood Aging OFF?

I didn't really mind how in Sims 2 my sims best childhood friend remained a child, I could always switch to them and age them up easy. But now I miss out on playing sims because I have to pick and choose WHO I play with and WHO I let live their own life.

I wish there was a Sims 2.5, somewhere in the middle where I can have the seamless neighbourhood, but the Desperate Housewives style playing of Sims 2.

MrAlex, the Awesomemod at MATY has the option to play sims2 style, maybe you can use that one.

GAMEPLAY FEATURES
1. TS2-Style Aging [Optional - Default: Disabled]
Allows you to have sims age TS2-style, with only the active household.
Not enabled by default.
