I read the thread over and over again on downloading and installing cc, and I know it says not to download into my documents, but I bought some cc from the ea store and thats where it installed. I also installed cc from here (w/ the monkey installer) and it's in my "my documents" folder. The patterns I downloaded are in both places, program file folder and my documents. I don't understand this?? Everything is in my documents and it shows up in my game fine, but before I had all cc in the program file and my game was taking forever to load and was playing really slow. So I don't understand. I know almost everybody has questions because Sims 3 is way different than 2, so if anyone can understand my issue, please help me. |

If you download stuff using the Launcher (i.e, from the Sims Store), it downloads the files into My Documents, and then installs them into Program Files - the files in My Docs are only there in case you have to reinstall the content for some reason. Yes, you can use subfolders, as long as you've downloaded the new resource.cfg. |

Yes, but everything that I have downloaded is in "my documents", there is nothing accept a few patterns in the Program files. So should I move everthing to Program Files? Because it all shows up in game. That's why I'm so confused. |
