Ok I had sent a family to the gym to work out. Two were teens. I got an alert on the daughter that she was about to be out after curfew. So cops come round her and her brother up.

Well her brother is at home as he should be. She is missing. Gone from the side panel of the household sims. Still shows in people's relationships.

Anyone had this happen? If so did the missing sim ever return?

I had a teen sim "abducted" by the cops. He was alone, and when the cops grabbed him he disappeared from the side panel. He was 1 day away from transitioning into a YA. He was gone for 4 days and stayed a teen in the family picture. After 4 days, I married his big sister (who had a "gold digger" wish) off to a wealthy sim and moved her out. When I did that, there was an option to move the teen from one house to the other. I actually put him back in the old house, and moved the extra sims from the wealthy household in with him. One day later, his picture in the family tree changed and he had a career instead of "High School." In other words, he was really living in the old house and aged up to YA.

You might try opening up the "move" panel, putting him back into the old house, not moving anybody else out, and see if he moves back in. If it works, let me know.

Glad to hear it worked. Maybe this will solve other cases of random sim bugginess in the future.

This bug seems to happen waaayy too much. I had cops abduct two of my simteens and neither came back.
