Apologies if this is a silly question -- but are challenges to be played with free will on or off? They would seem impossible with it on, but I guess you never know?

I think it depends on the challenge. Pretty sure the Legacy challenge can be played either way, but the Asylum Challenge is absolutely meant to be with it on - that's the fun part!
