I'm getting anoyed at the new stairs now. They totally screwed it so it's impossible to make a good looking staircase inside. Before, in Sims 2, you could make the modular stairs as high or low as you wanted. But in Sims 3 it -has- to be either full size or from a foundation. I guess I'm hoping for some savior in shiny armor to come riding with some tips. |

Check the building forum for tips on how to make modular stars using the CFE cheat. |

you can make them as high or low as you want, if you build halfwalls as foundations for example.. but i totaly agree, because the sims 3 stairs are so disappointing to me -.- you don't have so many facilities.. but i'm still hoping for spiral stairs and elevators.. |

You can delete the under~parts of the stairs with the delete tool. Looks pretty good to me. |

I don't have anything against them really to be honest. You had to have full size or off a foundation type of stairs in the sims 2 as well. It was the stage that changed that. But yeah, try and find the CFE building cheats and then that will make the stairs more interesting. I think though, at the moment we do have a lack of types of stairs. |
