Saving patterns as .package files
I have made some custom patterns (not recolors) and uploaded them into the exchange and I would like to bring over here. Is there a way to turn the sims3package files over package files? I would really like to offer them up to you all

There are a couple of approaches, take your pick

1) When you install a Sims3Pack, it creates a .package file in mydocs/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/DCBackup . They're all inscrutably named though (long string of letters and numbers)... that's one of the reasons we prefer .package files, they make it much easier to manage your downloads. You can just rename your .package file from that folder... if you can find it.

2) Or, use Echo's Lepid Llama unpacker ( http://www.simlogical.com/Sims3Tool....php?topic=32.0 ) to extract the .package from the .sims3pack. You'll still have to rename it.

3) Or, repackage your source pattern using Delphy's tool instead of the TSR one ( http://db.modthesims.info/download.php?t=342998 ).
