Everywhere it says that you can only get the death fish in the graveyard during certain hours...however in the downloaded town...there is no water IN the graveyard. Does that mean there is no way to get the death fish in Riverview?? Also...where can I find a complete list of all the pre-made families in both towns...including the binned families... Also is there a cheat for giving lifetime points that actually works?? lol AND...where do you go in Riverview to catch the Robot fish! :o) Thanks everyone for your help... |

If you follow the graveyard to the tip where the land meets the river, you'll notice a "no fishing" sign. If you look a bit beyond that, you'll see a school of fish that will tell you it has Red Herring in it during the daytime. That's the school where you get deathfish, from 12 AM to 4 or 5 AM, I believe. I can't remember the exact hours. |

Thank you both ![]() Another question...I have a favorite family and for some reason their picture is not on the starting screen anymore and I can't click on them to enter the game...it's a blank screen like when you are creating a family...when I mouse over them it says the saved name but when I click on it...it bounces me to another family... Please help!! *sniffles* I love Evil Vincent... |

Don't know what to do about the missing family, but here's a lifetime happiness point cheat that works: CTRL+C, type "testingcheatsenabled true", go to the lifetime happiness points tab and while holding the CTRL key down, click between the picture of the chest and the numbers. This will add 500 points per click. |

With the missing family, that usually happens because the game froze or crashed when you were saving. That's happened to me before, and it's really frustrating. I haven't been able to find a way to fix this unless you keep backup files. |

I found the answer in the Sims 3 forums!! The thread was locked so I couldn't thank Chase_Paynce who gave the answer...I copied it here ![]() Restoring lost saves in four easy steps: 1.) Go to: My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves 2.) You will see a list of your game saves, one "regular" save, and one backup 3.) Simply delete the corrupted file and then right click the backup file and choose "rename" 4.) Remove the .backup portion of the file name and viola! Your save will be restored to the most recent backup! This actually worked guys!! I uploaded my family and now I'm going to play again...whoo hoo!!! |

Also, for the lifetime happiness, if you have testingcheatsenabled you can type lifetimehappiness in the cheat engine to get 50000 lifetime points. I have the awesome mod too, so I'm not sure if that's from the base game or from the mod.
