How To: Add More Sub Folders
(Edit 8-11-2010) Much to my surprise using Ambitions all my CC worked properly until I added my own resource.cfg. I was confused until I looked at the 2 side by side, It has changed just slightly in Ambitions so I have uploaded my new resource.cfg as well for those with the Ambitions expansion and since MTS2 won't allow me to add it here for some reason it's hosted elsewhere all 4 are the same file mirrored:

On a side note I was glad to see we can rename our SimsStore items and put them into the Packages folder as well since I like to be very organized in the sims.

(Original 7-14-2009) I noticed many people in forums talking about how they hate not being able to add more subfolders. For me this trick is fairly simple and works correctly. Just add more lines that end in /*/*.package with each one increasing the number of slashes and asterisks you put and then for the final one it needs the same amount of /*/* as the previous and then a final slash like this /*/*/.package

I think you can probably add as many as you have the patience for it should look something like this:

You should be able to name the new folders anything that your PC will allow.

Here's a pic of all my current subfolders I have at least 3 items in each folder:

Everything in the additional subfolders I added does show up correctly in my game.

(Edit Thanks to CrazyAce who pointed out a problem with my pic (Now Fixed). I have checked the file over multiple times and it is exactly as I intended it so that's fine just the pic was wonky.

The attached file should allow you to have up to 20 subfolders:
